Ionia is a weird trait, because the real power of this trait is based around the Emblem. The Ionia Emblem is a lot of Attack Speed, which is great for Challenger units like Warwick/Kalista/Kaisa and Aphelios. It also allows you to easily field 6 Ionia in Stage 3, which is a considerable powerspike.
You can commit on this comp early if you find the Emblem or start in the Bandle Cafeteria Region that grants you a free Spatula at the start of Stage 2. Collect all Ionia units, you can give AD items to Jhin and AP Items to Kalista until you find Kaisa/Aphelios.
You can run this version either with 4 Challenger and Kaisa as your main carry or instead for Aphelios as your main carry with a Targon setup. In this setup you can prioritize Locket and Protector's Vow to get more value out of the Targon trait.
