About This Team Comp

Azir remains a powerful carry in Set 9.5, but the setup around him has slightly changed. You are now running Silco instead of Lux in combination with a Juggernaut frontline that is being kept alive with the help of Silco. Nasus remains one of the best tanks and can hold the line while Azir and Silco take apart the enemy team.

The core concept of this comp is to rush for Level 7 in either Stage 3-5 or 4-1 and roll for your core setup. Once you are stabilized you can push for Level 8 and add more Strategist and look for Aatrox to help cap out your board.

This comp is surprisingly flexible you can change up your carries depending on your game. Instead of Zaun you can also run Fiora with BT/Titan and Sona or Quinn to get a free radiant Item for Fiora. Another alternative is to roll for Miss Fortune*3 with Level 7 and give her Blue/JG/Rabadon in combination with 3 Bilgewater.

This comp doesn't have a required Opener, aim for anything that is strong and helps you to rush towards Level 7 in a win streak. Samira can be a surprisingly good item dump for Azir, since she makes good use out of Nashor/Guinsoo in the early game.

Stage 3

Continue with your setup. If you opened with Noxus you can also add strong mid game units like Miss Fortune and Taric to get you through Stage 3. Don't neglect your tank items, you will need them for a strong Nasus to hold the line later.

Stage 4

Should be Level 7 in Stage 4-1 and roll for Tier 4 units. Make sure you have a strong frontline that buys enough time for Azir and Silco. Chem Mods usually go on Silco. Can run either Sett or Darius until you find Aatrox or have +1 to Juggernaut.

Stage 5+ Option 1: Strategist

Add Jarvan for more CC and Strategist. Look for Aatrox and replace Darius/Sett. If you have Juggernaut Emblem can give it to Jarvan and run Miss Fortune for more Strategist.

Stage 5+ Option 2: Demacia

Add Fiora with Bloodthirster + Titan's Resolve and Quinn/Sona to activate 3 Demacia. Can either run MissF + Swain for Strategist or Nautilus + Aatrox for 4 Juggernaut.

Stage 5+ Option 3: Miss Fortune

If you find a lot of Miss Fortune you can stay Level 7 and upgrade her to 3 Star and use her as your main/secondary carry. Can run Illaoi/Taric for Bilgewater + Bastion.

Emblems

Strategist Emblem can be added to any frontliner, since the trait affects the whole board anyways. Jarvan is your best choice for a Juggernaut Emblem.

Zaun Mods

Most of the time you will only have 2 Zaun active, which means you can chose between Offensive or Hybrid Chem Mods. Silco should always get prioritized for the Chem Mod over Warwick. Offensive Chem Mods, especially Virus, are much better. If you only have Hybrid Chem Mod you can cut Warwick for stronger Juggernaut.
