About This Team Comp
Kass and Garen will tank and depending on offensive items and augments both Kogmaw, Kass, and Graves can carry.
Be sure to not level in the early game unless you can ensure an early win streak (early 4-5 is ok, do not go to 6). Instead look to hit 50 gold as early as possible and then try to 3* Garen, Kass, and Graves at lv4-5. After that level to 6 and hit Kog and Blitz 3. Once all are 3* (or if the lobby is strong and you need to level to avoid dying) level up to 7 and 8 to round out the comp as needed.
ITEMS:
Kass is the main tank, try to guarantee Warmogs and Gargoyles
AS items on Kogmaw - Rageblade, Giant Slayer, HoJ, Static Shiv, LW, Runaans, ect. QSS is also nice if he is your main carry or find he's dying a lot.
AP items on Malz - JG, Shojin(or Blue with mana reduction Mutation), Dcap, Morello, Archangels, IE (with JG)
AD items on Graves - Giant Slayer, IE, GA, BT, ect
Garen can take the scraps, he can use offensive or defensive if everyone else is full items. BT is quite good on him.
AUGMENTS:
Featherweight is prolly your best bet as most of the comp is 1-2cost, but any economy (not march of progress)/reroll/hp saving ones work well.
Random synergy splash is ok too (socialite heart for example is always useful, even without a single socialite), anything that improves early game board strength and gets us to midgame without losing too much HP is ok.
1/2 cost reroll (GOLDEN BOIS)
This comp looks to 3* the core units by rerolling at lv5-6.Â

Early Game
Try to find these units and 3* them first at 50 gold. Don't worry if you can't find some of the 2costs, we can get them later. If you have a really strong open (random 3-4cost or early strong 2star) feel free to play it and collect these units on the bench until they are 2-3star. Just recently started adding in Cait here instead of Blitz or Malz, depending on what Mutant is or what you can find. Another reason this comp is really flexible. You should not spend any gold on leveling until you hit all your 3* 1costs, or if you are about to die and need to be stronger. Level to 6 on 4-1/4-2 at the latest, or earlier if you hit are close or have hit all your 1costs.Â
Mid Game
This is where you will be the majority of the game. Do not worry about being a level or two behind every. This comp is quite efficient/strong, especially once you start hitting your 3stars. Graves/Garen/Kass on lv4-5, then lv6 for Kog and Blitz. Malz can be attempted on lv7, or dropped if there is a bad mutation or better board you can play. You can level to 6 on stage 4 if you are getting low hp and are reasonably close to your 1cost 3*s. Level to 7 once you hit most of your 3* or if you need to avoid dying at stage 4-5/5-1(20-45hp). If you are 1 off 3 starring 2 or 3 units feel free to roll past 50, especially if they are your last ones to get golden.Â
Add-ons (lv7-8)
After your 6 unit core feel free to level up and add on to your synergies (Mutant5, Twinshot4, Academy4, Protector5, Socialite, ect) or add in supporters or 5cost units. Another reason to love this comp for it's flexibility, there is no set lv7/8 build path and it can go different ways depending on augments or enemy comps~!
