About This Team Comp

Patch 13.20 brought a lot of changes to Multicaster, which ended up overbuffing the trait and making it the strongest comp in the game. It is also extremely contested, you can expect up to 2 players going for this every single game.

The core concept is to take Twisted Fate Legend for Pandora's Items, push for Level 6 in Stage 3-2 and run 3-4 Multicaster with Galio/Swain in the frontline. You slow roll for Twisted Fate*3 and then push for Level 7/8 to add Jarvan/Azir/MissFortune/Ryze. In early game you can run Poppy for 3 Demacia, put Tank items on Galio*3, Swain*3 or Jarvan if you can't find them.

If you struggle to find Twisted Fate*3 you can also find success by pushing for Level 7 and focus on Vel'Koz*3 as your main carry instead, as he is equally powerful and can win you the Lobby.

Usually you take Pandora's Item with Twisted Fate Legend and lose streak in Stage 2 to build up your economy. You can pick up your core units on the way and use Poppy for early Demacia and as an tank item dump for Jarvan.

Stage 3

Push for Level 6 in Stage 3-2 and roll until ~20 gold or until you have enough upgrades. You have on decision to make regarding your team comp, do you want to run Poppy as your frontline with 3 Demacia, run Swain and Galio or play 4 Multicaster, since you can't fit all of them with Level 6. Make your decision based around how strong your Frontline is.

Stage 4

Check how contested Multicaster are in your Lobby. If possible you want to take it slow, but in same games you will have to roll deep between Stage 4-2 and Stage 4-5 to find 3 Star Upgrades to stabilize your board. Once you have Twisted Fate as 3 Star you can recover your economy and push towards Level 7 and add Taliyah/Jarvan.

Stage 5+ Option 1: Multicaster / Strategist

Push for Level 8 and add Azir/Miss Fortune for more Strategist. Can also add Ryze for Invoker if you have a strong Region for him. Itemize Vel'Koz*3 as your second AP carry.

Stage 5+ Option 2: Vel'Koz Carry

Sometimes you will find yourself in a spot where it's too difficult to find Twisted Fate. In this case you can push for Level 7 faster and aim for Vel'Koz*3 as your main Carry instead. Transfer Items from Twisted to Vel'Koz once you upgrade him to 3 Star.
