About This Team Comp

Zeri Miss Fortune (which will be referred to as Zeri/MF) is a strong option when you are tempo'ing with AD items, but notice that Leona/Xayah will be heavily contested. While the composition is a bit item hungry, once you have everything upgraded, the board is quite strong. This board can be played from win streak or lose streak with Cypher.

There are two major mistakes players make when playing this line. The first is not making sure that your 3 and 5 Exotech breakpoints are strong. While Zeri can use Pulse or Flux, Mordekaiser ideally wants Chassis or Lantern. Chassis is significantly stronger than Lantern, which is stronger than Coil. If you have Coil as your tank item, it's understandable to be a bit more hesitant before playing this line.

The second major mistake is not prioritizing Miss Fortune items. Once you have a guinsoo slammed, start focusing on Miss Fortune items. Since we will not be able to incorporate 3+ Dynamo until level 9, Miss Fortune wants a Shojin + 2 damage items (Ideally Infinite Edge with Striker's Flail). Miss Fortune is a much more consistent source of damage compared to Zeri.

Aurora can go in on 9, who will ideally pull in a Kobuko.

Early Game (Stages 1-3) Win Streak
Rapidfire
Bruiser

During the early game, you can play from ahead or behind, just make sure you have enough money to comfortably roll on 4-2 to find your 4 costs. If uncontested with a lot of HP, you can even roll on 4-5 instead. Don't shy away from Cypher, as this composition with Cypher can cap out very high. When playing from ahead, Kog'maw will be your best item holder. Heavily prioritize 1 Guinsoo, and then start working towards Miss Fortune items. Nashor's on Zeri can be a potential alternative in dire situations. It will not scale as hard as Guinsoo during long fights, but the damage output is very similar for the first 15-20 seconds of a fight.

During the midgame, keep playing your strongest board or continue your Cypher lose streak. If Cypher, you will often trade your intel on 3-7. Below is an example of a win streak board on level 6.

Roll for Zeri 2*, Miss Fortune 2*, and Sejuani 2* on level 8. Mordekaiser will always be your strongest tank, and all tank items should first go on him before Sejuani (Mordekaiser 2* > Sejuani 2*, but Sejuani 2* > Mordekaiser 1). The only exception to this rule is if you are playing this composition with Cyber Coil, in which case you should prioritize Sejuani as your main tank due to her passive, which gives her an increased bonus percentage of Armor and Magic Resistance from all sources. Any tank items that provide a bit of starting mana (ex. Protector's Vow, Adaptive helm) ideally go on Sejuani so that she can cast faster. Do not go level 9 until you have at least Zeri 2* and Miss Fortune 2*. Feel free to put Jhin and Twisted Fate in the 3rd row instead, so that Zeri can zip around in the 4th row and stay safer during fights.
