I play Master Yi on 3v3, because this tactic doesn't work on 5v5, get at least „Cleanse“ to counter CC's in 5vs5. I don't recommend any other summoner spells.
When you don't have enough money for the critical runes then take critical chance or attack damage but i think for Shaco and Gangplank critical runes are the best ever.
I know you can play Gangplank on Tankplank but I think with criticals he attacks harder. You get enough survivability through lifesteal.
