You should all fear me now. I can and will bring this site down with a nod of my head. Virtually, of course. Not going to waste my energy.

Link's dead, what was it about?

That's a weird motto for a distro that is pretty advanced. I mean, I sure as hell wouldn't wanna try Arch without researching properly.
"Moral justification is a powerful disengagement mechanism. Destructive conduct is made personally and socially acceptable by portraying it in the service of moral ends." - Albert Bandura
"Ultimately, if people lose their willingness to recognize that there are times in our history when legality becomes distinct from morality, we aren't just ceding control of our rights to government, but our futures." - Edward Snowden

Well it's simple as in that it gives you the bare minimum. You can get to fully understand your system and build it up just the way you want it, but it indeed takes a lot of reading in the beginning. It's got the best wiki I've ever seen in my life though.

Oooooh, not simple as in easy, but simple as in basic.
They really wanted that specific acronym, huh? Because KIBS would have been way more clear.
I'm well aware of what Arch is btw, I've just never bothered with it since it seems like kind of a waste of time.

It's not something I would recommend to businesses, but I like how bleeding edge it is. When a new version of some random significant piece of software comes out it's probably in the repositories within 24 hours. Package manager pacman is awesome, PKGBUILDs(package recipies) are easy to use once you get the hang of it and the AUR is full of them so you hardly have to write them yourself anyway.
TL;DR I prefer to call it a hobby xD And hey, I bet it's less time consuming than both LFS and Gentoo! ^^
But I was just trying to link that thread which I thought was kinda funny. As if all Arch users come together at Saturday evenings in blue robes and decide to hack the Playstation Network or anything, as if they can hack PSN at all. Well maybe some can, I'm clueless on that stuff. I'm innocent though, I'm always at the inhouses on Saturdays :P
