Really hard to get a good picture, but Morrigog stayed outside its little cave under the cork bark long enough to actually get pictures. Even with the meh angles, misty glass, and webs everywhere you can still kinda see how much bigger its leg span is since molting.

He used to destroy things, before I rabbitproofed the entire house. I don't walk him because he already travels up and down a flight of stairs multiple times each day and it would be a bit pointless.

Actually, there are reasons. Otherwise she wouldn't have done it :P
But the overall value proposition of doing it makes it a pretty pointless/fruitless endeavor, so it'd be pretty dumb to do so in the end: essentially mirroring the meaning of your comment.
