Because it IS just a game, and you honestly should just relax. If you stress you'll underpreform.
Regardless of that, They also cant admit that they're no good at this game, so they blame anyone, usually support or jungle, that's just how they think.

Stop caring about what they think. Laugh it off that they won't get any better since they're too naive to recognise their mistakes and learn from them

I SWEAR TO GOD I ****ING DESPISE LEAGUE UPDATES... 99% of the time it gets stuck at 33%, the other 1% it gets stuck at 33% and scans files for about 3 months. "That isn't a problem on our side" they say, yet I can download EVERYTHING else, update other games at the speed I could since forever ago and even my speedtest.net results remain the same so what gives???

Personally I find it much more annoying that this patch (at least for me) introduced massive FPS drops whenever people use abilities, dropping my FPS in teamfights down to sub-20 at times on very low settings when previously it rarely dropped below a stable 60 at all times on higher settings.
In my last game I died because when I was standing in mid lane three people came onscreen and used abilities I hadn't seen yet, causing my computer to more or less completely freeze for a solid 2-3 seconds.
