I don't get how janna is more team reliant than support lulu, nami, braum, leona etc... They're all cc/ward bots with relatively low damage and tankyness lest they build for it specifically, which kinda defeats the purpose of supporting. I understand zyra, annie, karma, vel' koz and even Nautilus being less team reliant because they are an actual damage threat to the enemy team, but the others? nah
Janna relies a lot more on her ADC in lane to make plays, and has virtually 0 engage whereas others do have potential to set up stuff themselves.

From what I've experienced, you make plays with Janna by forcing a passive lane and capitalizing on enemy mistakes since if you just chill they eventually fall into the trap that they have to make a play no matter how inappropriate the timing is :P
Also, flash + ult is a pretty good way to get someone out of position so technically Janna can somewhat engage xD

Flash ults on janna are about the stupidest thing you can do in 99% of the situations as an engage tool lol. I know its a joke but generally it's only good as a reactive play rather than pro-active.
With regards to Janna's playstyle, you can play her VERY aggressively but you need your ADC to initiate trades while you cannot do that yourself because you need the shield on your ADC. Constantly forcing those quick trades is super effective but requires your ADC to work along. That's why she's more team reliant.
Keanu gonna end up in Pulse's division at this rate l0l

Also, Nami is far worse off than Janna atm. She doesn't have the level of purely disruptive disengage that Janna does in a team fight and everything about her is pretty lackluster late game as far as damage goes. She, imo, essentially feels like a worse version of Janna late game, while being more oppressive during the laning phase. She's probably MORE team reliant and even harder to carry with because her team fight CC is not really comparable to Monsoon as far as completely decimating an enemy team's positioning, instead she has a knock-up/slow combo and an AoE stun (which simply does not have the same effect). This is not to say I don't like Nami (I do), I just don't think she's any better off than Janna is as far as being team reliant goes.
