It's sort of sad that I see so few cassiopeias. I remember when Evelynn was considered the worst champion - the more people complained that she sucked, the more evelynns I saw and the better they did, until she was an OP jungle champion.
Now, I want to see people play Cassiopeia until she has a niche or something. Play cassiopeia until she has to be nerfed, because if we can do it with evelynn we can do it with cassiopeia.
GO CASSIOPEIA PLAYERS! LEARN TO PLAY HER WELL!
Also, anivia was considered a pretty lackluster character for a while because so few people knew how to play her well. Now she had to be nerfed because she was so powerful.

Her niche is that she has strong mobility and strong burst, however the burst isn't sustained - her burst relies on a status effect, and if that status isn't there you're really just a sitting duck. She almost requires to have Singed on her team to make the most out of herself.
In addition to almost requiring a teammate to make her 100% effective, she doesn't have CC to go with her burst - Veigar and Annie, two very strong single target bursts, have CC to make it easier to deal that burst. With Casseopia, they can easily escape Twin Fang range outside of a teamfight as long as no one is there to keep them in place.
It doesn't mean she's a bad champion, a lot of people know she can do high damage and she has very good single target damage in optimal situations, but why would you pick a champion that requires a team built around her when you could have a burst that compliments any team setup, like Annie or Veigar?
Anivia was never considered lackluster, she's always been a top tier burst champion. She had to be nerfed because her burst was so high for very little effort, and she had an extremely easy laning phase (oh hi I'll just pop my ultimate and e for a second, 100 mana wasted but there's half your HP gone already).

I never found that Cass really needed team CC to be successful with her burst. (And once her ult is up, she has it alone)
Since her buff, the speed increase is enough to catch up to most champions, especially since you should be rushing a rylai's. 2 reps of fangs should be pretty easy to land. And if you know none of their teammates will be around to help, around 4 or 5 reps of fangs should be easy to land. I know I've never had a problem getting Q out of people, and landing W and it again while they're running.
And actually, there are some high elo players that were calling Anivia OK or decent. Then once a few people played her for a while, everyone was calling her a top tier champ. Will this happen with Cass? I don't think so. But most complaints I've heard about her are pretty easy to solve.

I saw her once this week. I laned against her mid as Vlad... yeah she kinda got owned. :P
Anyways, I played her during her free week and thought she was very fun. Her ult's very hard to pull off but she's a good harasser / laner. I do feel like she's UP, but honestly I would play her and try to get better with her if she wasn't freaking 6300 IP :P There's just other champs I'd rather buy / play with that much IP... She is a difficult champ to master, and hard to fit on a team, but she is still fun!

Thanks to Minho for my sig!
I used to hate Cass but she grew on me and I feel a lot of people should try her. She is really fun to play imo

I've seen a good amount of cass's these past few weeks. I think about... oh 4-5 in these last 2 weeks of games. Oddly enough, I've seen an Eve every single game I've played ever since her new art update.

Oh god, I HATE her new art.
As for Cass, I've seen her only twice out of 190 games. One of those to times was me, when I was level 12 or so. I did very well, but her ultimate never seemed to work when they were facing me.

I may have seen her once or twice the week after she went on general release.
Anybody loves her around ?
