Yeah the trends are a wee bit over exaggerated.

So you aren't being a **** then? Cause it kind of seemed like you were. I have been playing terribly lately and likely would deserve the drops. It's my own fault for playing when I'm having to many ****ing problems in my life affecting my game.
Hey guys,
This website you've linked was a small project of mine a while back. I had no idea anyone was really even using my website (lol). It is lacking, and needs a lot of work to be more accurate, but I'd like to explain the tank portion to you.
Presently, there are two algorithms in place which detect a "tank". It's somewhat difficult due to the fact that you can build a lot of champs straight tank, and simply detecting whether or not a champ is a "traditional" tank is kind of inaccurate (AP Amumu for example throws this for a loop). First, it does look for that flag as an added measure. Second, it takes your DPS items and compares them to your survivability items. If your survivability far-exceeds your damage output, it flags you as a tank. It compares that metric with the first flag, and if both match up it assumes you were tanking. That said, you may be wondering why it flags a negative if it marked you as a tank. It also takes your enemy teams' penetration, AP, and AD into consideration. If you're lacking in absorption based on any combination of those three, it'll give you a red or yellow flag. It looks for a healthy mix of Armor, MR, and Health in tanks. It's slightly generalized, and I apologize that it's sometimes inaccurate, but it was planned to make it MUCH more accurate. On a positive note, there are champs you do want to soak a lot of damage with (Vlad for example). You will actually get commended for soaking damage as him, so long as it wasn't just fodder damage. If you're playing your role well with him, soaking damage, and Q'ing like a mad man, you'll get commended for your efforts.
You are both correct in your earlier statements that it only takes the games it shows into consideration. I never set it up to track consistently. I planned to, and lost the motivation. I do think with a full match history it would be more accurate, but it is also just used as a tool for the short-term. A lot of the time you can look at your own general success over extended periods and gauge your future success. The hard part -- or at least for me -- is knowing where I am PRESENTLY trending, and why.
Jungle comparisons are a bit interesting. On one hand, your opposing jungler doesn't dictate your build. On the other hand, if he outplays you in multiple aspects, you should probably know what he did to accomplish that. There really is no clear-cut metric for measuring why someone jungled better than you via the League API. I'm essentially using all of the data provided by the API, save wards.
Wards are kind of another story. I started out with wards being on the stats. The unfortunate truth I learned was that, when I posted a beta link on the official forums, I got *****ed at because just spamming wards isn't technically "good teamplay". I can see both sides. On one hand, if someone loses and their score is increased on my website because they planted the most wards, and those wards happen to be 90% within in the base, it's a pointless score boost. On the other hand, I feel like wards win games. When not abused, they're a very good metric. I, unfortunately, could not distinguish between "well placed" wards and "poorly placed" wards via the League API. I decided to just remove them altogether so they neither impacted your score in a positive nor negative manner. Possibly a bad choice.
I'd like to thank you for linking to my website. You've given me motivation to keep working on this little project. I haven't even put the latest 3-4 champs in yet, but I think I will keep the website up and take your comments into consideration for the next release. It's a work in progress, but with valuable input like I've found on this forum here today, it'll be one step closer to a legitimate service.
Thanks guys, and if you have any input please feel free to post it here.
P.S. I always planned to get it working for non-NA regions. It's really a simple thing to do, but I just got bored with the project. I didn't anticipate that anyone would use it, so I thought it was a waste of time. My apologies.
