New and slightly improved version is still up to date >HERE!<
Newly minted Silver IV here, so take my advice with a grain of salt.
I've performed my fair share of quedodging (never in ranked matches due to the penalties), and I generally view it as an acceptable alternative to playing matches with obvious trolls and griefers. Nevertheless, the current system isn't really all that bad - you just take your five minute penalty for dodging a match, and as long as you don't do it on a daily basis (or multiple times in a row), it won't really have any permanent consequences.
Now, back to the issue at hand.....
You seem to have constructed a number of excuses for your losses and your ranked status - personally, I'll happily admit that I never really expect to get out of low Silver because (to be frank) I suck at most aspects of the game that require mechanical skill (watching me play pretty much any ADC - especially Vayne - would be headache inducing) and lack the ability to play certain roles (cough....cough....top) without feeding. However, you don't seem to have any desire to take credit for your own mistakes or examine how these mistakes contribute to your losses - even if we assume that you are constantly getting matched with trolls and "children," then the enemy team should also have an equal amount of disruptive/unskilled/feeding players (since the matchmaking process tries to find individuals of similar skill levels to play with one another). Under these conditions, if you are truly "way beyond bronze," then your superior skill should tip the balance in favor of whatever team you are on, resulting in a solid overall winrate and eventual promotion. Oh, and also, I hate to break this to you, but several of my fellow college-aged friends who play this game demonstrate toxic, immature, and frustrating behaviors - these sorts of qualities aren't limited to kids, and there are plenty of 19-25 year old man-children who can't accept loss or failure in a video game.
I know it's easy to get into the "my teammates suck and nothing is my fault" mentality - I've been there too, but it is particularly counterintuitive. If you are a support main (and I suspect you are), then it becomes very frustrating to play in lower elo divisions like ours because many ADCs in Bronze and Silver don't understand how to communicate in a duo lane. They'll face-check an area of the jungle, 1 v. 4 a bunch of enemies after they get jumped, and blame you afterward for "not helping" or "not warding." If you play a passive laner like Janna or Soraka, then they'll flame you for "being useless" and "not doing anything in lane." (I've repeatedly encountered Silver and Bronze level players who insisted to me that "Janna is useless" even though she's still a common pick in higher elos and in the LCS, and this attitude is particularly widespread and frustrating). Oh, and don't ever take even a single kill or try to push a wave - you'll be accused of stealing CS even if you don't actually last hit anything, and kill stealing accusations will still be applicable even if you did most of the damage to the target.
Then again, in low elo, you also have supports who build full AP, never buy Sightstone (or just never use Sightstone), take half of the CS from lane, and leave the ADC alone for frequent roaming (even in the middle of the laning phase). I once played Quinn ADC to an Annie support who got frustrated after dying a few times in a row to the enemy ADC - my ally then began to flame me, typed "bye ADC" into all-chat, and left me alone in botlane for the rest of the game.
So, as you can see, we all have our frustrations, but even though people in low elo (i.e. bronze-silver) can occasionally do some pretty stupid things, it's not impossible to get out. Theoretically speaking, if you are really as good as you say you are, then you should be dominating your ranked matches for most of the time for the reasons I previously explained - many high-tier players (think foxdrop, for instance) have produced videos demonstrating their climb from "unranked" to "diamond"/"master"/"challenger" on smurf accounts, and they've usually accomplished these feats in incredibly short amounts of time. If you want to get better, then the first step is to let go of your ego and admit that you aren't that great of a player; honestly, although I'm not great at this game, I aspire to be better in the future, and I can only do that from evaluating my mistakes.

Anyway, on most engage supports,
Ignite is actually stronger in trades, especially if used before opponent
Heals. I take it on basically anything that has any kill pressure whatsoever. It's only extenuating circumstances where I will take
Exhaust (enemy has a
Vayne or some other kind of hyper-carry/assassin, etc).
Anyway, on most engage supports,

Ignite is pretty much the only commonly-seen summoner right now (not just on engage supports, even for the likes of Nami/Janna). It adds so much kill pressure whereas exhaust pretty much means you're not trying to win lane, but go even at best.

My excuse is too many feeders on my team, which causes my frustration even tho I'm way past bronze material. I got more competitiveness than you, tho i can only hold out for so long in these types of useless games especially If I have a feeder on my team in rank.
This is gold dude, please never stop

Good writeup, definitely agree with what you said. Sadly the guy won't listen to you though as he's stuck in the mindset that his behaviour is infallible because he's a supposedly grown up.
@ TheSilverDust i think your exaggerating my deaths for stupidity. As support I'm NEVER going to die for NOTHING. My end game stats as support my DEATHS are less than the enemies support. Early game 2-1-9 end game stats 4-3-15, if I have a feeder on my team my stats would look like this as support (EarlyGame 0-5-8) (End game 2-10-18) yet still less deaths on my team. In Rank i care for stats, so i would leave before this happens.^^^
@The_Nameless_Bard
I've been taking
Exhaust since Feb as support, know there's no need to throw the stupidity card @ me since I've learn the hard way, yet I used
Clarity once i started in Nove 2014 because i've like playing ARAM more.
Mobility Boots you forgot your only piece of advice THAT actually help me? Yet my sincerity gets buried when negative comments continue.. in those threads months back.
To ALL wow I've like say this numerous times which it feels like passing wind to this community. I know my mistakes & I will admit to them 24/7. ( I'm warding to aggressively, even in my own camps late game).

You're fooling no one, you don't even buy wards
Akali top: 4 wards (only trinket wards)
Thresh support: 6 wards (even though you have sightstone)
Akali top II: 9 wards (only trinket wards)
Janna support: 22 wards (which is still poor in a 35 minute game, especially considering you didn't even get red trinket and pinks)
Lux support: 16 wards (very poor for a support in a >30 minute game)
So out of 5 random games I looked up, you only had 1 game with half-decent ward scores (but didn't destroy a single ward all game).

There are three things I want to tell you:
1.I'm not telling you you're stupid because you died from trying to save your teammates from danger. I have times like that also. I'm telling you there's no point in saving someone that will die from an inevitable death. You want to save that person who will gonna be run off by a train by a second? Go ahead, save that person. We will never know what will happen to you though. :^)
2. I don't want to know your stats, they're irrelevant for me (at least FOR ME). Even if the enemy support has less deaths than me, I still don't care. If I beat that person in some aspects (proper warding, assisting allies, etc.)
3. You care for stats and leave the game? At least try to change the game. Even if you experience defeat, at least you've tried. I strongly, heavily discourage not to leave games. You'll lose more than you've expected.
You're giving me the headache, aren't ya? If and only if I said something that is offensive to you, I don't know. I don't know really what to do. >:[
Thanks Vapora Dark for the sig!

every ward puts you 75 gold away from your deathcap. if you buy 22 wards in a game, you could have gotten a BF sword and a couple of pots instead. When will people wake up?

Anyway, on most engage supports,
