Yea, everyone agreeing to it would creating trolling situations. Thats exactly what Riot said about the "mercy" system someone created. While some people are good and kindhearted and can see when someone didnt deserve a loss, some people are just *******s and want you to suffer anyway.
I won, you didnt. sucks.

I didn't even get what was the idea behind the mulligan in the first place. If you lost a game, you either deserved it (not played good enough) or just had bad luck. By playing again you will run into the same dichotomy again, and having a "mulligan" will not be any different than playing again. Unless you're asking for a "do not take my LP" button, which would defy the very reason why the ranked ladder is there (even if it is once a day, you could rank less than once a day, like I do, and never lose LP).
Now if it's about your enemies having to vote on it, they'll either almost never do it if it involves them losing LP (or trolls would have another tool to make their teammates not win LP), or almost always do it if it doesn't affect them at all.
I really want to understand what you're proposing, because I'm not getting it at all.

The one free dodge a day in-lobby seems more sensible, imo. Having an after-the-fact-get-out-of-Elo-jail-free card seems absurd. Sure, you get bad luck in some games and people afk/troll, but the same holds true of the other team too. But having a button that basically cancels the last game is pretty stupid.
So like the 'Quit' button in custom games, have a 'dodge' in ranked. And, if you're duoing, perhaps require both players to have to press the button, like getting an on-screen notification that your partner wants to dodge.
I would disable this option in ranked teams, though, since this would just be abused to select better ranked matchups if you **** up your pick/ban phase, although this is technically also true of soloqueue... Plus, it'll increase the number of dodges, which means less games starting...
Perhaps this idea isn't so great after all.

yeah this thread was just a result of my frustrations more than anything. I still like the idea, but actually making it work would be to difficult for it to be worth it.
Dodge > Mulligan
A dodge is much more fair and makes sense since you can predict if someone is going to roll based on their champion selection or chat before game, but to get a replay just because you played worse than the other team, aint that just being b**thurt ?

I think he's implying more that the loss was caused by trolls or afk's thus, mulligan. But I still feel like trolls can be anticipated in champ select, and nothing can be done about afks.
As to the terms where everyone has to agree with it, or so I understand, IDK how that'd work.
