Oh buddy... You'll never be better than me. :)
I want full year pass for AFK Lounge. (Costs $675 and I'm about to live close enough to make use of that kind of thing, but don't have the money. D:) I know I can put that toward a new PC, but it's worth it for the community and I don't get out enough. As much of a shut in as I am, I don't like being a shut in. >.>

I AM NOT AFFECTED BY ELOHELL. NOOBS AND TROLLS NEVER RUIN MY RANKED GAMES.
I DON'T GET STUCK AND I NEVER GET ONLY 2LP FOR A WIN.
I AM UNRANKED.

Your
Graves score went down because the level of opponents was lower than your normal ranked opponents. It rises up again once you face higher level opponents in ranked, even if u would do poorly.

The system works because it's thought to reward people that win more often than not. This means it measures your ability to win the game. Mechanics, strategy, composition, reaction times are just ways to order this mess, but in the end, the guy who knows how to win games is the one who wins the most, be it because he consistently wins in lane (and doesn't **** up late game) or because he always knows what to do late game (this is where most people fail and don't see it). If you're consistently winning in lane, focus on getting better strategic skills; if you're losing lane too often, focus on getting better mechanics (reaction times come with experience).
When I get stuck, or start a losing spree, I just stop ranking and go tryhard normal games. See if there is any champion I can do better in, try to play with higher ranked friends to learn from what they do/my enemies do and look for my mistakes without the pressure of a ranked game. Because I admit it's hard to focus on getting better when your jungler doesn't take dragon after a 4-man-top in your promotion games.
