If you've seen the patch notes for today's patch, you may be wondering why we're bothering to summarize this at all, because there's almost nothing to talk about. That's right, almost. Today, we take a very short look at the incoming champion, item and gameplay changes before showing you the upcoming skins. Let's go!
Champion Updates & Item Changes
WTF DID THEY DO TO MY CHAMPION?! quick access for concerned players
Unfortunately, Kindred will not be out as soon as this patch is live. Garen, Shen and Zac are receiving bugfixes though, and the only buff this patch brings will increase the scaling of Miss Fortune's ultimate by adding a bonus AD based ratio per bullet wave.
There's not much more to say here, really.
Luckily, that does leave enough room here to talk about items, too. Or "item", I should say. In order to make the Devourer enchantment less effective on ranged champions, it now only procs the Phantom hit once every 4 auto attacks for ranged characters (up from 2).
Gameplay Change
Outside of champion and item changes, there's one mechanical change which is worth highlighting: jungle leashing. By introducing a new 'Patience' system for jungle monsters, Riot is hoping to clarify when and why certain camps will reset instead of continuing to attack your champion (for the record, this happens once a monster reaches 0 patience). Switching targets, moving far away from its initial position or being unable to target anyone are all factors which reduce a monster's patience, with the full amount of it (after resetting) being regained once the monster's health bar is filled for 90% or more.

Oh my ****ing god. I've been absolutely bodying and dumpstering people with Shen for weeks scraping my way back to gold and it turns out I've been playing him GIMPED? Time to get plat.

I got almost 6300 IP to buy Rengar but now there is Kindred in this patch! What will I do? Scale the ranks with the epic Assassin? Or patiently wait till I can get the newest Champ? So hard!
