Just played a game as escort... I knew who they are by roleblocking them, so I know who sided in the town or mafia. Lucky we found out who the serial killer is early, for I'll be dead and cannot stop a few killings caused by mafia. Other than that I am the first one to die the next games.

who dies first is pretty much random.
Just generally(generally means most town roles) write everything you do during the night in your will and you are pretty much fine.
The killing roles might also hold off of killing to confuse the town. Your info as escort isn't guaranteed to be correct.
