Welp, typically don't post in this thread but whatever.
Dropped out of gold yesterday cause I was having a go at poppy top. Always did poorly in lane but got more useful as the game went on, regardless it often wasn't enough hence the drop in rank.
Anyways hanging about in silver one, playing a game as zilean when I hear that one of my dogs has died. So me and my brother took him out into the field to bury him.
A couple hours later I tried another game this time as morg support. Game never loaded, computer bluescreened twice when I loaded it up. Seems there was a memory error. Decided to move my league client to a fresh hard drive, but obviously by then it was way too late to join the game.
Now I'm sitting here waiting for the first game of my 20 minute low priority queue to start.

I think elo hell is a real thing... solo Q it's a gamble, "let's see if I match competent teammates that will let me carry this game". Otherwise, you can try to do a lot but lol is a teamgame as stated before, it is really 80% about the people that you are playing with, only 20% about yourself.
I mean, that's true only if you have no control over your teammates. Which isn't necessarily true. Back in my prime (before my 4 mo. break lol) I would always babysit all lanes; I'd ping missing on behalf of my teammates, make predictions as to where my opponents are, and tell my teammates to be at a certain place at a certain time.
