Hi Brasion! I take locket because the utility of the shield and stat boosts for your team is invaluable. When facing a heavy AoE team mid-game, it could mean the difference between acing the enemy team or getting aced yourself. If more people on your team survive, you could do things like push a tower, inhibitor, or take dragon. Banner is a decent pick, especially if you have a split push team, but locket's utility and the MR it gives you edges over Banner. The AP on Banner to me just isn't worth it versus locket, but if you like to play with it, go ahead!

But I was wondering why do you build locket instead of banner? Banner gives some AP for larger heals and more damage and the splitpushing is great with banner.

Yeah, if you're used to playing with maxing E, continue to do so! It is a strong option as well, especially since it works with your playstyle.

I've tried maxing my w first past few games but laning phase just isnt as good for me, i also got yelled at by my adc that i didnt know how to play nami cuz he said to max e xD I guess it also depends on the play style i think im just better at managing my lane when i get my e instead of my w.

I max W on Nami because it makes the heal/damage a lot stronger. I max E sometimes when I need my ADC to catch up to them, but I max W in most cases because the extra survivability allows for my ADC to possibility make big/aggressive plays. W is also a good poke tool, but yes it shouldn't be spammed.

I've always got my e maxed first because of the damage and low mana cost, is there a reason getting your w maxed first is better? Because when i get my w maxed first i tend to not last as long in lane with my adc as i do when i get my e maxed first, most of my adcs also prefer me to max my e first.

Thanks for the guide. I'm still unranked, but Nami is super fun to play, and at my lvl a good bubble is a complete game changer. Thanks for the tips on watching the champs dodge habits. Just a question about the new item: Righteous Glory. I feel like the items was designed for Nami, with its ally movement speed and enemy slows. Any thoughts?
