I think I was fairly positive about AgK after I had watched a few episodes. Never finished it though. If I recall correctly it was amusing in its own way, but definitely not for the ecchi aspects. It does not thrive in that aspect at all, we all know there are a lot of series with way more ecchi of higher "quality". That doesn't make AgK good of course.

With most of the airing series at episode 4 or 5, what are your impressions so far?

I've been keeping up with Noragami Aragoto, Subete ga F ni Naru and Owarimonogatari. I find Noragami to be pretty good, it maintains its character from season 1. Still not really a recommendation since there's better stuff in the genre out there but I like it nevertheless, would recommend if you've watched S1. For those unknown with the series, Noragami depicts a modern Japan and their Gods who - together with their regalia, lost human souls who serve as weapons - fight some sort of spirit monsters born from mortal emotions (hatred, fear). All of this is invisible to the average human, but they can still be influenced (read: consumed) by it. Follows a currently unsung and unworshipped god of war, his single regalia and a young girl floating between a mortal and spirit form.

Now, Subete ga F ni Naru. I'm not sure what to expect yet. Is it a mystery, a psychological thriller or a soap? An unmatched genius professor and supposed murderer of own parents is found death in her own facility in a rather peculiar way. Intelligent daughter from rich family (parents also died on young age) and her father-like teacher are there when the death is revealed and decide to investigate. The facility, built on a small island in the middle of nowhere is fully cut off from the outside world (no internet connection, not in reach of mobile network, boats only when called using radio which, of course, is destroyed).

I can at least enjoy the science fiction in it, pretty realistic in a way. The setup so far is interesting but, once again, I'm not sure whether it'll turn out to be a mindblowing experience or a silly end based on afterthoughts. Apparently it's based on a novel (untranslated AFAIK) so I guess it can't be very bad.

Watching every Monogatari installment is something compulsory for me. Bakemonogatari, how bad it might be if I ever rewatch it, was probably one of the first memorable anime I watched and this may be the aftermath. Don't get the wrong impression though, Owarimonogatari isn't terrible or whatever, but I probably wouldn't watch it if I wasn't so into the whole series as is. This arc sort of revolves around the supposed niece of Oshino Meme. "Supposed" isn't supposed to mean anything, but it's not really evident that she's Meme's niece, it hasn't been confirmed as far as I know. I'm watching it, the first episode should give a general feeling of the dialog you may or may not like. I wouldn't recommend just jumping in on this if you haven't watched the previous installments.

Uuuuh, don't bother asking me about new seasons. I don't really watch anime until there is widespread acclaim of said series, and then I (sadly --.--) usually have to act reality check for people with limited logic skills, but I do occasionally (read: rarely) get to rave about a series I actually enjoyed.

Oh my god, I found the most hilarious **** today.

Boy Skirt. First comment on the page says: "ITS A TRAP! EVADE! EVADE!!"
And that's kind of the tone for the entire series :D

Holy ****. Has anyone watched Your Lie in April? Just finished it and I'm absolutely destroyed inside. I don't have the mental faculties to do anything except sleep. It wasn't perfect by any means... but holy **** did it evoke emotion within me.

^ One of my favourites. It was a emotional rollercoaster.

Get on the hype train for Subete ga F ni Naru! It gets pretty interesting at episode 7. You'll have to withstand 10 minutes of ****py English from a supposed native American but you get something in return.

Still not convinced but it wouldn't hurt giving it a shot in my opinion. I'm not repeating myself, am I?

^ I'll give that a try.

Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa ****ai ga Umatteiru has been the black horse of this season for me. The concept of "Highschool boy meets a woman who happens to be in love with bones and excels in investigating specimen which helps her solve varius different cases" sounded really boring but I gave it a try and so far I've liked it.

It's somewhat similiar to Hyuoka but is not that known at all. It's definitely not the best anime of this season but it has kept me well entertained for the past 7 episodes. Can recommend for those who like mystery genre.

Anyone nostalgia-hyping about Digimon tri? Some people are complaining about the changes but I liked that they're trying to mature the franchise.
