I was just wondering, is there a scheduled time the ranked leagues reset? Id like to play ranked but it feels useless since i know they are getting reset soon.

Adding to that, it's not useless because it's not a hard reset. It's a soft reset that just pulls everyone down or up a little. So for example, since I didn't play any of my placement matches until the almost end of the ranked season, I placed at about where I did the season before.

Thank you to jhoijhoi for the sig, and all the dividers in the guide.

They reset as soon as season 6 starts. Somewhere around January/Febraury generally.

As said above, it's not a hard reset. So for example, if you rise up to gold 3 in preseason, next season winning only 5 matches on your placements may leave you in gold. It's definetly less useful than playing during the regular season, but it's not completely useless :P

Well, work on knowing when to take a break and when to keep playing. I used to just quit playing if I lost more than one game in a row and that's really no way to climb. Now I just kinda stop when I feel like I'm ready to stop instead of using an arbitrary number of losses to decide when to stop and that helped me a lot.

It's not a bad idea to play to still play some ranked games so you can get a better MMR. That will make the rest not so hard. Placements for season 6 still going to be a *****.
