well dota is ****pier than LOL, and you CALL league of legends not competitive? WTF ARE YOU THINKING......... THEY GOT ON WCG.................. and its been out for less than 1 year! HON? lol no way they arent even that competitive. And DOTA theres alot of players... but people still play regular W3 mmorts. LOL > HON > DOTA QQ

Bleh, never really played DotA cause I got bored after one round :\ Recipes are so hard to find and I never knew about them haha. Ended up getting a ****load of boots of agility and getting flamed ;~; I never knew...
Well I'm going to put it in perspective of community
LoL = Slightly more player-friendly community. 2/5 games I'll get someone who's just a pissed off bipolar teenage kid that cuts himself because his daddy doesn't love him or some ****. The other 3 my teammates will all be good, work together, and that cool ****
DotA = A lot of **** talking for no reason either. You could be sitting in the waiting room than even if you've already previously downloaded the map people will get pissed, call you noob, whatever. Magical squlech powers activate! As long as blademaster guy (idk his name in game) carries then you should be good if you're still sorta brainless to the game.
HoN = Again, a lot of **** talking. That's all I can really say about the community
So LoL is a bit more user-friendly. Sweet!
Gameplay:
LoL = Original, stylish, pretty well polished, and the graphics are pleasant. Brings the old DotA gameplay vibe along with a new flare!
DotA = THE ORIGINAL. Can't beat it IMO. Sure I get bored of it after one game but During that one game, I had a blast. Just need breaks every now and then ya' know?
HoN = A copy! It's the same damn game, no original heroes, no nothin'. You get the same set of characters, same map, same buffs, and flashy graphics, wooo... the gameplay is still pretty fun but... I'd really rather just play DotA. Everything's darker, too.
So in my personal perspective, DotA>LoL>Hon

any way my idea of things.
I played Dota (ALOT) but i heard there was these games in beta (HoN,LoL) so i tried them both in really early beta stage. (srsly hon only had like Dota heroes and 2 original) I started tryieng hon but i thought Dota was way better, hon was just a copy with pretty Explosions. some month later i tried LoL. it was pretty fun, bit more noob friendly and such, but dota was the main call for me still then.
Now? well i play both HoN and LoL. :O
started playing hon really much, closest you culd get to dota ya know :S i got into a clan played some competedive. but i culdn't really go play pubs by my self, mostly becus it was no fun. the same old heroes that got picked and the same old stuff.
So i started playing LoL again. made a new acc becus my old acc was so old and on a us server... so i got no UFO corki :(
anyway this is were the fun started! i culd sit a whole day if i culd just solo queue this game till i got lvl 30 it seemed. so i pretty much did.
But i still think Dota is the way to go just looking at the gamplay. ( ohh sweet kunkka you will always be a pirate in my eyes <3)
CONCLUSION!

Comunity: HoN < LoL
Compedetive: HoN > LoL
Public gameing: (alone) HoN < LoL
Public gameing: (premade teams) HoN > LoL
Graphics: LoL > HoN
DoTA > HoN,LoL
