People still read blogs, if they know they exist. I believe it's common practice to comment on it after you posted it so that it shows up in the activity feed. Otherwise we might not notice.

Edit: Oh yeah and let's not forget how I had Fox PM'ing Joxuu reminding him to permanently keep pinks in his inventory to prevent me making any kind of come back after having already been shut down so hard. :^)
