I won one of my placement ranked matches with my 1st match as soraka when sona was picked out from under me. thank you! what helped alot was how similar it is in build with my sona :D so i didn't have to focus so much on learning soraka build but rather your tips.

A really excellent guide Ansiedad, you've done really well. I particularly like how you identified that Equinox can interrupt channelled abilities. Its really funny watching Janna fail her ultimate, It can be a total lifesaver and the disruptive nature of the spell can make the enemy tilt hahahaha. I also really like that you mentioned that Starcall provides temporary vision - soraka should NEVER face-check the brushes. I use it alot to check for ganks, get dragon vision and generally keep myself safe. Its a really important facet of the spell.

4.98% cdr - x6 Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction
49.98% cdr - total.

I'd say glyphs go to waste. Sorry if I'm nitpicking. ^^

About the cooldown reduction.. I made some calculation and you are right. I will rethink about it. Thanks for your review.

Uh, one more thing, there is total of 50% cooldown reduction in your build, but the cap is 45% (with Intelligence mastery). Felt like I should point that out.

Talisman of Ascension -> Movement speed and cooldown reduction allow Soraka to sustain herself and her allies more often. "Active UNIQUE: Grants nearby allies +40% movement speed for 3 seconds (60 second cooldown) (600 range)."
I personally prefer it instead of Eye of the Oasis because i need speed in fights. My main target is to keep everyone alive and to adjust my position constantly so that the enemy team cannot reach me. Another advantage for this item is doing engages and disengages.

Why not get Eye of Oasis instead?
