Sivir was a bit on the underwhelming side before but she just got a really good buff on 10.10, her E now restores 30 more mana per cast. With the preseason changes I haven't even gotten round to even beginning to update the cheat sheet of most of my guides, so it'll be a while before I get to address the text for this guide, just taking it one at a time with cheat sheets then once that's done I'll have to take it one at a time to update texts too. Pretty gargantuan task, so I'm making sure not to pass off any guides as being 9.23 updated at least until the cheat sheet is done at a minimum.

And in general I dislike them since they don't usually change much. In bad matchups you play one way, in good matchups you play another. Once you've established what kind of matchup you're in (Are you kicking the enemy's *** or are you getting your *** kicked?), you play either aggressively or defensively, and either push out or freeze and trade depending on what's best in the situation.
And it doesn't even just depend on the matchup but also on player skill. Like just earlier I was playing
Matchup guides don't do much other than give you a preview of what a matchup's likely to be like (not accounting for supports or differences in laning skill) and tell you what the enemy's spells do, which you can just do by looking at their wiki page. Other than that it's pretty common sense to use
That's not to say that Matchup guides don't help at all, I just don't think they help enough to be worth working on such a long section. But if you have any questions about individual matchups then feel free to ask and I'll be happy to help.
