I've always played Ahri as an assassin over anything else and my favorite version of her was when she had the damage amp on Charm, so it'll be cool to see it back. Even if they choose to go with a version without the damage amp, she's trading movespeed for damage which I'll take any day.
I think she'll end up being over-tuned tbh, but I won't be complaining :^)
Also, looks like it's being delayed til 8.7 or later.
Did you really? Or are you just pretending you did to have an excuse to comment to farm raffle points?
This of course ended in me carrying the entire game and finishing 19/11 , but that's not the point. I was against a leblanc and found the match up easier than against the old leblanc, how do you feel about it?
Also how is Ahri for now in the meta? or..game..thingy..yeah. Cause even though it sounded dumb in my ears, you never know! So how is it/how do you see it turning out?
I'm very glad to hear your found the matchup easier than before, I can see where that might come from actually. LeBlanc lost a little bit of damage in favour of more 'Deceivingness' and also waveclear, and those 2 weren't issues for Ahri before, it was solely her damage output. Also, the fact that her clone doesn't proc anymore when she's low HP is great for Ahri, because often times you'll slip up an a kill or lose potential damage because of the split and Charm/FoxFire/Spirit Rush procs hitting the clone rather than her.
Because of all the Assassin changes, whether they turn out to be buffs, nerfs, or just changes there's 1 thing for certain. Assassins will be played a **** ton, at least for now. That alone is bad news for Ahri because typically, she doesn't do well against Assassins. I don't think it will be too bad though, maybe Talon will be a **** to deal with now because of his new E and he already was super hard for Ahri.
Out of curiosity, what did you build in your game vs that LB?
Also, a quick update on my Guide. I'm working my *** off and I've just finished the Runes Chapter to which I've ended up changing a lot. On to the Masteries now, about 6 chapters to go. I never expected Season 7 to start so soon with Pre-Season now. It'll definitely be finished sooner than I expected though, probably next week!
I simply did as i always did, rushing abyssal then going morello rabaddon. Following this i did a void staff and then finished with zhonya because of the team fights (twitch in the jungle morgana support.) I went for penetration boots since i didn't felt like i needed more MR.
Leblanc simply had not enough damage to win a fully fleshed 1v1, at one point we did get at each other throat during the beginning of mid game for at least 5 entire seconds, but i had more damage than her. She might have played badly tho, but from the point perspective she seemed like a good leblanc so i can't really know if she was bad or not. Did seem like my adc hated her tho.
Interesting build path you chose, I would have personally done Abyssal Rylai's, I love that build against AP Burst! Still nothing wrong with how you built though!
Sounds promising that the LB didn't have enough damage to 1v1 you, and you also didn't have the extra HP from Rylai's, so that's even better news!
I just played my first Pre-Season game vs a Talon. It went like this!
First impressions are that his Rake is really hard to avoid now, at least the initial part to it. It's not so hard to avoid the return damage now since there is a delay though which is nice. Honestly, he seemed so much easier to deal with than the old Talon. Maybe the guy was just inexperienced with him though and was simply testing him out. Oh, and his new E is OP as **** :D
i'll look at the video on the night, and i'll keep that in mind about Talon. It feels like a lot of match up got easier for ahri this season, which is great~
Abyssal change is certainly interesting, but I did read on Reddit that it's mostly worse than the old one. "Without getting super crazy with the numbers I can tell you that it's a pretty hefty nerf overall. 30 MR targets; old Abyssal outclasses new Abyssal starting at level 2. 42 MR targets at level 3. new Abyssal actually performs better with high MR targets. But don't think it's something akin to Void Staff, not even close." - Pasted from the Reddit comment.
Also, how did you know I was uploading the first Pre-Season game?!?!
And if abyssal got less firepower early but more late with high mr target, i say wurf, Since Ahri early ain't exactly the best thing in the world, unless you stomp the laning phase.
Also this has been ticking in my head for a while but, want me to add you as a friend on LoL? Simple thought i had since battle.net i'm never using it. (yeah...late reaction to that last message i know XD;)
I did? :O It's an image for me haha.
Yeah the Abyssal change is fine, I'm happy with it. Feel free to add me on League too, I accept everyone!
