So let’s all play a round of Mafia, but Heroes and Villains edition, the game will need at least 15 people but we can get away with a few less but I think we can get 15 easy. So the basic of this game is everyone is assigned a role at the beginning of the game, via random name/number generator and that role determines who team’s team that you are on and the win conditions There will two teams, the good guys vs the bad guys. Each round will be split into two phases a day phase and a night with the day phase taking 24-48 hours allowing people to post their replies/cast their vote/perform an action if their role allows it. And then a night phase where the Villains have free range to purge someone of their choice. During the Day phase it breaks down into a debate of “who done it” after a discussion all players will have a chance to vote on who they want to execute/arrest/remove from the game permanently! After tallying up the votes I will announce who is out of the game and proceeded to move the game onto the night phase which will take place exclusively in private messages between the Villains, and anyone else who has a night action after hearing everyone’s replies and waiting till morning I will post the results and the next day will begin, and this process will repeat so on and so forth until the Villains are defeated or the Heroes fall. [/center] Roles assistant MOD The only role you can ask for (^_^") The assistant mod will have the lovely job of helping me post updates if I for any reason get called into work, or am unable to post updates to keep the game going. The assistant mod will be included in every private message, so that if I am unable to post or need to step away for a day or two the game won’t come to a grinding halt. Villains The villains will be set up with a private message that only I the assistant mod can see they will communicate in private so that they can set up their devious plans, talk about who they want to kill during the night phase, ect, ect Win conddition you become the marjorty Towns person Congrats you have been born into a world of super heroes and villains and just like this world you have no super powers. But alas although you have no actions to perform during the day or night phase you still have the power to vote and discuss during the day phase your true power is in numbers. Win condition town BatMan Congrats you are the one hero who can take matter into their own hands, during the night phase if you so choose you may attack someone you suspect of being a villain and remove them from the game permanently! However if you choose wrong not only is an innocent out the game you yourself retire out of shame and are out! So choose wisely or don’t the choice is yours. Win condition Town *Commissioner Gordon* During the night phase you may investigate a player of your choice to perform a background check/investigation, I will tell you if that person is innocent or guilty, what you do with that information is up to you! Win condition Town Medic/Nurse if you think of a better name let me know. but basically during the night phase you have the option to try and protect someone you suspect that is in danger, and you will have a PM set up with me to cast your vote on who you want to heal, healing yourself is also an option but you may only do so once, good luck. Win condition town Mr Freeze at any point during the game if you die you can take anyone of your choice with you. Win condition Town, or unless you decieded to spite the town during your death, by perposly taking an innocent with you Vengeance seeker if you die to Batman or the Townspeople you will have you vengeance against the town that robbed you of your life. And will be sent a PM of the list of the current villains in the game and you will have the power to make anyone still in the game a new villain to carry out your undying will of vengeance! However if you are offed during the night phase by the villains you will do the little bit of what’s left in your power to help those still in the game by being allowed to make a post only once after 3 day phases, you may leave a death note. Think of it as a clue to those still in the game, about your thoughts of what have happened after your death who you think is guilty. Win condition same as Mr Freeze, so really it's your choice how to play this chacter. [Spoiler=Rules] Other Rules 1. Do not talk about the game outside of the thread, do not set up PM’S with others to talk strategy that is the one advantage the mafia has they are highly outnumbered. 2. DO NOT TELL PEOPLE YOUR ROLES OUTSIDE OF THE GAME since it ruins the game. 3. Kind of a contradiction to the first rule, but You can say or lie about your role in game, example something along the lines of “yeah I’m batman and I’m coming for you tonight” basically think that you are playing a mind game with people and as long as you are not saying your role to ruin the game your good to go. 4. Once you are out of the game you are out, no posting period you can only watch at this point! 5. No posting during the night phase the game is on hold during that time. 6. When casting you vote use [code][b]your vote here[/b][/code] to make your vote visible 7. If you fail to post during two straight day phases you will be removed from the game via mysterious disease I will PM you a warning if you are coming close to the deadline. Maybe the villains are fine the way they are, as long as you also announce a "death letter" or something that the villains can leave behind each time someone got killed, that would be awesome.
