I stole the name from a guy I once met. I also tend to not use emojis/emoticons which makes me sound less girlish? I've learned that females mostly influenced today's chat language, the way we communicate overall on the internet.

That would explain it! And yeah you're totally right about the emoji thing :D
I can't take back the words I never said

Thank you for doing my survey and the suggestions :)

Unfortunately, i wasnt able to have open text boxes at the time as my supervisor didnt think i would get many responses to them (usually people tend to put two words at the most so it wouldnt be worth analyzing you see!)
No worries about not knowing the exact amount of time you spend playing per week, its just to give me a general figure to see the amount people play thats all :) Personally the amount i play changes every week so i understand not knowing which option to choose :P

I appreciate your feedback nonetheless, thanks! :)
No problem. I like experimental designs and next year I'm starting my thesis so I'm in a mood to talk about it.

Well, hope you do well with that! Would you be able to post any of the results here? I'd like to check them, even if it's a complex analysis (especially if it's complex :P).

Yea, I don't really use emojis either. I used to act (emphasis on "act") a lot more stereotypically feminine (as people who have been here a while will be able to confirm), because I guess I felt the need to hide and/or compensate for my more stereotypically masculine traits. I've gotten more mature as I have gotten older and realized that I shouldn't give a **** what people think about those things.

Oh, BTW, there was a spot to put a sort of identification for our answers. Was it so that we could change them? Or in case there are changes to the questionnaire?

If you mean the memorable word, its in case you want to withdraw the data youve given :) Its there as a precaution as researchers need the full support to use your data when they ask you to take part :P

********PLEASE READ*******

Due to popular demand on forums, i've been given permission to include both females and open box text boxes in my research! Ive already updated the questionnaires, and the links are still the same :)

Unfortunately, due to the design of my questionnaire, those of you who have already took part, can not redo the altered questionnaire, sorry about this! :( Thank you tho for your responses, every little helps!

I'll also edit the original post for anyone new to it!

Does it make sense for a girl to participate? Or is it targeted at gamers overall? Don't wanna screw the data you get.
