Done! I found the this one sentence really interesting: "Women play games to get attention from men." Would a woman really bother learning a game that might be totally boring? I think when your crush asks if you want to learn the game and you say yes immediately, then yeah you want his attention but you do not go all the way and learn the game before hand and say "Hey, I can play LoL!".

My sister tried to get into league once because a guy she liked played it, but quit after like playing 1 or 2 or so bot games (with me helping her). She doesn't ordinarily play games and didn't like it at all of course, since it's not really fun until you get kinda decent at it.
I thought the question was more that women start playing and continue to play games merely for the attention that gets them from men, which is equally as silly a statement imo. I think some women might enjoy the attention that they get, but certainly do not only play games for it.

I'd really be curious to see the general consensus on such questions. I know people who will insist up and down that 90% of the girls who play league only do it for attention/skins and are garbage at it and that I am one of the few "cool ones" who actually understands how the game works/plays vaguely competitively, doesn't play for attention, and isn't awful at it.

Haha definitely! These questions are apparently created from conversations in forums, not entirely sure which ones tho XD I think with a game like LoL i could NOT be arsed learning it for my bf, but maybe other casual games? The original journal did look at puzzle games too :P

That reminds me actually, my sister did actually ask me to play games with her when she had this crush on a guy who is obsessed with games (im talking gaming room with merch included) and shes never had any interest in games :') needless to say she gave up! haha

Tbh not sure if i can post that yet! but ill definitely see if i can cause its interesting to see everyones responses for each question! If not ill post my results at a later date :)
