If you prefer taking the dmg to minions, by all means do it.
Also I know the guide ain't updated, when I got spare time i actually prefer to play than to write about it. When I get some days off work I'll ship an update to the matchups (which I know is required).
- Maokai's ulti no longer deals AoE, damage, it's more of an initiation tool.
- Shen no longer deals any kind of damage when hitting you with his knife. It is no longer a targeted attack, and he is much more AA oriented.
- Vladimir no longer stacks his E. He charges it instead. It's also blocked by minions.
Other than that, had lots of fun stacking champions by 25. Nice work!
I noticed that I also tend to pick champions with similar mechanics to his Q, like Sion and Veigar, as I enjoyed Nasus that much. I even tried making a guide on my own hahahaha.
Look at adaptive helm in items, gives the same as spirit visage, but the passive is a huge help against ap champs with continuous damage output on their abilities. Lessens the damage and give you a massive push/kill advantage
LOVE YOUR GUIDE and i hope you roll out a runes/masteries/items update soon since there have been changes after the guide was written, but SUPER helpful!!
Imagine this on URF.
I would have to rename the guide and nearly completely rewrite it if i wanted to have that here.

It's mostly about taking Triforce instead of Gauntlet, Lethality marks and 2 MS quints. Also taking Randuin again instead of DMP.
Basically my 2nd runeset became the 1st one (and vice versa), also added some quality of life tips and reorganized chapters a little.
Please report if you happen to find any new typos or old descriptions. When it comes to matchup I become a victim of my own wall of text. I'll get to it when I have some time (gotta patch out the Chain Vest into Warden's Mail again WRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR - done it before the other way round already like season ago!)
Anyways cheers guys, happy stacking!
He is dealing mostly Physical Damage now
NEVER EVER GO IN ON HIM when you even have one stack of bleed. Better to use the EQ combo and get away with only 3 stacks.
It's really easy to tell the difference between a bad darius and a good one.
A good one will consider buying a chain vest in between of his black cleaver, poke you down with his q. And NEVER use his e to initiate an all in. He will rely on the fact that he can starve you of stacks if he stands right next to your minions and there is nothing you can do since he out damages you early, come close to him then he does his AA+W+Q+E+AA+AA+R combo.
It's also important to tell your jg to never gank top as if he manages to get you low enough he can proc noxian might by ulting you then ulting your jg for a double kill.
Well, I agree Darius is easier to handle now, regardless - if played properly - it's still a good counter and a matchup when 1 mistake ****s you up for a long time.
I should probably tone it down a little. Maybe soon.
