You should probably mention that Ashe synergies pretty okay with Brand due to her passive applying a slow to enemies, making liandry's torment good when you don't have ryalis yet

Hey, thanks for the question. Generally, yes. If an ability is on cooldown or you miss a spell you will want to back off and monitor your mana. If they have a 'safe' support like or you want to go full aggro. Against tricker supports like and you want to poke until they miss/use their grabs and then that gives you 10 seconds of lane control.

And if your adc is a weak laner, such as you will need to play more defensively and work with your jungler and hold off until level 6.
