I'm interested in your build, but you didn't really explain why you choose those particular items. Perhaps you could go into more depth about why you believe is a good pick for Sona :)

hello Good to see you taken up interest on my build, anyway thank you for your suggestion to make a vs comparison . i already made it and sorry if it took a while. I hope this can help you enlighten on why i choose .

While I do agree that can be a good pick on Sona in certain situations, some of the reasons you gave seemed off-point IMHO.

The extra mana is nice, but, if used correctly, Sona does not need all of the extra mana, and the 250 provided by should be sufficient, especially since you are also building more mana regen in this case.

The tankiness is nice as well, but if positioned properly, Sona does not need the extra armor.

In some situations, IBG is a good item on Sona, but Lich Bane is, generally, better for her if building any other AP items at all.
If going pure support with , , Ardent Censor, ect., then IBG is a pretty good pick.

you only pointed out the mana for vs
another one that i pointed their is to have the early 20% cdr
since does not give 10% cdr anymore using + + will only give you 30% cdr while having will give you 40% cdr
