Very new to Mobas & lol - Trying Kalista during this free rotation for the first time.

EXCELLENT resource not only for her but all ADC's MF's my fav.

Really tough because I am learning EVERYTHING from scratch. The better the explanation the more thoroughly I understand their functionality to begin practicing with them rather than fudging around w/my own ideas for an hour.

Thank you for the in depth insight into Kalista as well as the very helpful adc tips

Glad you like the guide despite the runes issue. I'm working on getting a new Runes format for all my guides to make them easier to update, currently updating runes is too much coding work which I'm inexperienced with.

About runes. In the guide u advice to use precision + sorcery, but in top of the guide there is precision + domination now. Which one is better?))

Yea I know but I I find it really dumb how somebody like you can literally make a guide on anybody you want and then that will make it to the most popular guide on that champ simply because you have such a large fanbase. I mean its been 2 days and this guide has nearly more comments than my guide has got in the past 5 months.

I'm not trying to bash you or anything I have no problem with you it's just the fact that I've literally spent days on end making these 2 guides and now seeing them become irrelevant is heartbreaking if anything...

To be fair, having the top rated guide only matters if people are looking to read a guide for that champion. I can confirm, through personal experience, that if no one is looking for a guide to read for that champion, you won't get views/votes/comments even if you sit at the top for years.

It's really ****ty when your work is made to feel irrelevant by another person (believe me, I get it), but there's no need to be impolite.

I wasnt being impolite or planning to be, but after he calls my guides "the least in-depth on this site" and starts bragging about how his guides are way better than mine, it kind of annoyed me

I mean they're not irrelevant, they probably still get 40-60% of the same views they did before. They're no more irrelevant than a guide for a low-playrate champion is irrelevant.

Also my popularity does help speed up the process but it's not as if it's the only reason my guides reach #1. The main reason I ever reached this stage to begin with is my guides are good, and pretty much always better than the competition (helps that I usually actively avoid writing guides for champions whose top rated guides are already very good).

In this case, your guides are both correct, but they barely have any depth at all to them, almost all they do is explain your cheat-sheet choices and then call it a day, while not really touching on any gameplay except maybe in the spells section. As far as good guides go, yours are some of the least in-depth on the site, even though in terms of correct information and coding they're otherwise great. I get it's disheartening to see your guides drop because a guy who always gets #1 chose to write a guide for your champions, but it would happen whether I were Vapora Dark or just a random no-name author, just slower if the latter were the case.

I could understand people like Elusive Ferret or The Lady of Clockwork complaining about this if I were to write guides of this quality that overtake theirs, but you can't really complain about it when your guides are lower quality than mine to begin with. Guide writing at the end of the day isn't meant to be a competition between the authors, it's just meant to help people, and the only person that doesn't benefit here is you; future readers do.

Jesus ****ing christ I literally just said that I have nothing against you and what your doing but if you want to start bashing my guides over stupid and hypocritical reasons two can play that game.

Firstly, you currently have 20 guides on 20 different champions. There is no way in hell you can tell me you can play each and every one of those champs to the same level as somebody else that has made a guide on that champion too. It is impossible to have a champion pool of 20 champions no matter if your challenjour or even an lcs player. There is no way you can go into extreme detail into every one of those champions and keep your guides updated as changes across the season happen. That is why i currently have 2 guides and no more, so I can concentrate on updating them and making sure the reader benefits from reading my guides, unlike what you do. You have spammed guides full of exactly the same things that you have wrote in other guides (I will expand on this point later). What i'm trying to say is that your guides are nowhere near as detailed on how to play that champion as other people's guides who have played hundreds upon hundreds of games on that champ and continue to play that champion to this day.

Secondly, you say my guides are "the least in-depth on this site". Ok so you can go ahead and shut your ****ing mouth because you know that isn't true. In my guides I actually teach the reader on how to play the champion in extreme detail unlike you. I would said 70%-80% of your guide is copied and pasted from your previous guides, because you literally go so low in depth of how to actually play that champion but rather go into a lot of depth on how to play adc as a role, which is not the purpose of a ****ing champion guide. I'm almost guaranteed that I can make a guide like yours where I copy 70% of everything from previous guides in under 1 hour if you exclude the making of art.

I really am extremely shocked that someone like you that is meant to be a role model on this site can go out on a massive warpath against me and my guides after I wasn't saying anything bad about you or your guides and your reasons of defending yourself (against what I don't even know) are so utterly wrong and hypocritical it amazes me. You completely ****ing shock me.

Just because you can't write a guide for 20 champs doesn't mean others also can't. Not everyone climbs playing only two champs.

Im saying that theres no way that he can keep those 20 guides up to date quickly and well enough as he doesnt even play most of those champs anymore. And i never said people only climb with 2 champs, im saying people dont have champion pools of 20 champs and I only made 2 guides so I can focus on perfecting those guides instead of spamming out 20 guides that are low to medium quality

I'm not trying to bash your guides, I said they're great in presentation and correctness, but lacking in depth compared to most other guides on the site. That's just a little light criticism which was necessary to preface the rest of my post.

I'm not going to respond to any of your criticism because you missed my point completely and it's unrelated. All I'm saying is, one of our guides has to be better than the other and one has to be worse. Let's say mine is better: does it matter that my popularity helped my guide reach #1 faster? The outcome would be expected to be the same in the long run anyway. The only way this could in any way be seen as unfair is if you think your guides are better than mine and I unjustly took the #1 spot just because I'm more popular. And if that's your opinion, then fair enough, it's just that my opinion is that they're not, for reasons I already explained.

But okay, let's assume that your guide is better than mine even though I've played hundreds more game and have much more experience and knowledge of Kalista and Caitlyn than you but okay.

Out of all 20 of your guides, 19 of them are in the number 1 spot. I mean what? xD. You cannot tell me that that isn't because of your popularity on this site.

Also, out of those 19 champions, you cant write in extreme detail about 19 different champs to the same extent as somebody who has 1 or 2 guides and they purely focus on updating those guides. So you can stand here and tell me how **** my guides are but are you really going to say that your guides are better than the other 19 people who focus on those guides?

I really don't know why you started saying all those things about my guides after I didn't say anything bad about you. I understand that it might be your opinion but I didn't get why you approached me in such a way. You could have just said it in a much nicer way, and the reason I backlashed so hard is because of that
