I'm working on Synergies with champions from multiple roles so everybody will know what to expect but later when you learn more about the game and how all champions work you can figure out what's good with Ahri and what to expect. oh hello, well, sorry to keep you waiting but i hope you will still be able to use this what i'm about to tell you:

Veigar in order to set up abilities must use his cage because his Dark matter is really easy to doge. Hit ultimmate also deals more dmg when you are lower on hp and yes, his passive gives him free AP. But despite that there is a way to beat him. first you need to avoid getting trapped inside his "cage of death" and also try to not let him land any Q's in order to kill minions or hit you (both scenarios grant him AP). You can fight him in 2 ways:
1) use your Q when you se he's going to farm minions with his Q, it locks him in place for a moment and if you will win the "poke fight" you won't feel dominater by veigar so much as you probably are now. If you see that you can't escape his cage just stay inside it and don't touch walls (only walls stun you, not being inside the circle). while inside it you still have a chance to doge his dark matter drop if he use it after you get trapped. After lvl 6 you can dash away from his stun and you should abuse every window he doesn't have his cage up to fight him, this is his only safety tool that can stop you from killing him.
2) you go super aggressive on him, don't give him minions for free and try to bait the stun with your movement (with a bit of experience you can read when veigar is about to use his "cage"). after baiting his stun you just try to get as much dmg on him as possible before he get it back, then repeat the pattern until you finally feel like you can go on and kill him.

Getting mercury's treads will lower his poke dmg on you and also will reduce the time when you are stunned. Consider building them quite early so they will come in handy while you fight him. having banshee's veil isn't enough, you need zhonya to survive him later in the game (his burst is really disgusting).

To sum it up playing aggressive and not giving him "free AP farm" without taking dmg from you will force him to be more careful when he actually decide to farm and baiting / avoiding getting stunned by his "cage" are two things you need to focus on in this match up, you must win early to make hm useless since he's going to outscale you massively with his free AP if you let him get it,

I tried to put everything i know so all of you can discover even some uncommon ways of playing Ahri since i believe no one should focus only on one thing or be left out with partial knowledge. The more you know the better and that's the main goal of this guide, to educate all of you :)
