Good guide. I typically only use Sion, Xerath or Karthus in top lane for much the same reasons. Sion for siege damage and the two mages just go out-poking the melee and hitting the tower. Though I recently grabbed Ziggs so now I can do some more damage with less risk. The auto attack suggestions are a nice idea to look into. Not sure I want to be spending that much time at a tower that deep into lane, but if it can shorten tower siege times then that may be worth it.

Right now Ziggs is easy to finish towers with Satchel and can bully the lane as well. But taking that last step into basic attack range and staying there long enough to lower the tower to 30%ish health is risky.

One trick I've been using is push my wave in, throw a satchel down then retreat and bomb the minions/champs from afar and let the satchel go off on it's own. Usually the minions weaken the tower in time. If not, then just do it again, no risk really. :)

Blade of the Ruined King may also work over Nashor's Tooth. Depends just how strong those basic attacks are. Ruined King will do better when the tower has higher health by going for 8% of it's current health per shot, which is the time to hit it with basics as we have satchel for the rest. While Nashor's Tooth will deal steady damage. One has cooldown, and the other has lifesteal. Could use the tower to heal up after a push I guess.

Interesting. I wasn't aware that towers also took the BORK damage. That would make the item stronger for tower taking. Maybe take it over Guinsoo's then. I didn't really like it since it didn't add too much. The passive was nice, but you already dealt a ton of tower damage so a few autos were enough by the time you got it. BORK seems more in theme if the passive does work on towers

Great guide you have here Phoenixianslayer!

ALthough i am not such a super fan of too many colors, since i think it might just become a bit too much, but even with that i still feel like it is good for this guide, you have formatted the chapter's easily to make it 'a bit better' to read which is the key point for any type of guide that is meant to be informative.

I personally think this is a great guide for new players looking to play Ziggs top lane! even if it is sorta out of meta in some sort of way.

Thanks, Sorry about the color explosion though. I wanted to keep it from feeling like a lot of the same thing, so I tried to make slight changes to each chapter. If other people think its a bit much, I will tone it down.

Also, why do you keep changing your portrait? You change it like every month or something like that. First, it was Ahri's star guardian pet, then Jinx's, and now its Blood Moon Sivir.

Anyway, thanks for looking at my guide so quickly! Getting opinions quickly is really nice!

Well i guess there comes new skins almost every 2 months, i get different reasons to change my portrait, but once i find one i really like, i will probably stick with that one.

And no worries i am happy to see good guides evolve as time passes :)
