Youtube vids about upcomming patches
Just watched Prof Akali who mentioned its very likely that the Conqerer rune will very likely be removed from the game and replaced with something else.
My question is how should I take these kind of vids and the information I am given?
Cause this is pretty huge if its true.. I spend alot of time playing Poppy and Sion and especially that rune makes me want to pull my hair out at times.
I sometimes watch Phy when there are bigger changes happening and his stuff is generally pretty on point, but thats because he gets his info from the PBE.
So my question is; how likely is it that this is actually going to happen, and is Prof Akali someone that can be trusted with these kind of vids?
I normally only watch the official ptach notes and Scarra's review of them (exept for the preseason stuff) so dont know if Prof Akali is an reliable source, especially since he based it on an tweet and talk from higher elo players.
I cant wait for 9.3 if they actually going to remove Conquerer..

A guy asked directly to a rioter (if I can find the screenshot I'll link it here, I have Just to find it in one of the thousand comments under one of the S@20's post lol) about Conqueror and he confirmed that they wanted to work on it in the near future (no ETA for now), but they won't remove it.
I always suggest to not listen that much to what big youtubers say or to take those informations with a grain of salt. Most of the times it's just clickbait or rumors, if you want real informations on upcoming patches or other general informations about the game, you should follow the PBE site (that is S@20), where, other than simple PBE patches, they collect the answers Riot Meddler gives in his "Quick Gameplay Thoughts" posts.

But the reason why I specificly made this post here is because the guy in the video I refered to used an Twitter reply from an Riot staffer that (to me atleast) didnt seem to imply anything about deleting the rune.
So I wanted to know how high my hopes would be xD
Cause this rune is just plain broken, all an yasuo does with it is build attack speed and you can do nothing against it as it counters a huge build part that tanks have.
Kind of stupid that they dont fix this rune imo, having an build path invalid because of a rune is pretty wierd if you ask me.
Guess I'll just have to wait and see.
Atleast there is Sylas to distract me from the horror that is Conqerer.

- In what universe is conqueror
- Why do you still have a problem with conqueror even after seeing that the only two potential OP conqueror users,
- Why do you want a tank meta for the toplane? Is seeing two unkillable champs slap each other for ages just to barely dent their shield your idea of fun? Conqueror was introduced for a reason.

Second of all, these things are based on personal opinions, just like YOU formed the opinion that they need nerfs.

Of course you shouldn't. Rioters make official posts all the time on this kind of stuff, but this was just hearsay and nothing more. And even then they often change their minds. That info is completely unreliable.
