Despite being god awful at playing Nidalee I can't help but just loving to read this guide on her. I think it might be because she has so many playstyles and uses for her abilities (well and two different forms of course lol). It's just very fun to me, even though i'm not even a jungle kind of player, more of a mid one. Just some particular champions interest me so much even though I completely suck at them. x)

I used to play Nidalee however I feel she isn't as strong as she used to be. Do you think she is that good at the moment and is she worth getting back into?

Embracing (353) | July 29, 2019 10:35am
She's still decent! Not the best but definitely playable. If you enjoy her enough play it but if you value wins there definitely are easier champions to pick up and be more effective on.

Welcome back mate, love the guide :) You're right some of the text is outdated, but hey, it's been archived for a reason before after all, so it makes sense as to why it would be.

That's awesome! :)

This is a really great guide for Nidalee though and it explains so much which is good considering she has a rather complicated set of abilities to make use of.

is AD Nidalee viable? Also would you suggest it over AP?

Embracing (353) | January 19, 2018 5:31am
viable, but wouldn't suggest over AP. it's pretty niche but it's fun to play

Interesting guide, I used to be a Nidalee main before it became popular then backed off once it became the flavor. I was wondering why you bring Grail and Hourglass? I feel there are better build paths to reach max cdr without overstacking and giving Nidalee more damage. That being said I enjoyed the guide, your outlining of some of the finer points of Nidalee's playstyle was on-point.

Grail is just extremely cost efficient and a really quick buy for how cheap it is. Hourglass is really useful for playmaking given how you're reliant on going in for executes.

You actually don't overcap on CDR with the new runes. Old runes I used to run cdr/lvl which was why there was an overcap but with new runes that's avoided by not having any cdr

thanks for the feedback!

Ah That's right! I just double checked, I completely forgot that Grail was changed to 10% CD from 20% CD which is why I was thinking that the build overcapped. Not my preferred item, but it is definitely cost efficient! Thanks for the quick reply, I plan to check out more of your guides in the future. Really enjoyed the detail in the mechanics.

Happy Holidays! ~ +1

hello my homie from anotha momie

u r overcapping cdr with your final example build

and have you been experimenting with armor/lvl seals mixed with hp/lvl seals?
1
Embracing (353) | November 4, 2017 1:17pm
tbh overcapping cdr when you get all those items really isn't that bad cuz ur buying the items primarily for their actives / stats / passives and you're relegated to more of a support-ish role once mid late game hits. Going tabi or mercs would be one solution but having early cdr is really nice on nid so I personally wouldn't unless you need the tank stats from merc or tabi.

i tried armor/lvl and it's nicer for the clear, but at that point if you wanted a better clear I think just running mixed flat armor and hp/lvl might b better
