Is Nasus with the Lethal Tempo the better rune build to go with on average these days? Instead of Unsealed Spellbook? Because I see that's what you usually tended to go with in your last several streams recently, unless you were going with something experimental like the crit builds

Yes, it's the best choice nowadays unless you are very high elo, where spellbook can be good too
Please can you help me with a few questions i have not seen the answers in your guide.
Firstly, your build path. Im curious as to whether you are saying that this is the ideal build path or that this is the standard build path, in the sense that often there are some teams that are ad heavy and ap light (and vice versa). In those cases do you build this path or do you go something like frozen heart.
Secondly, I have come across a Yorick that had minions with grievous wounds in the late game. It became very difficult to deal with due to the number of minions either summoned or spawned despite having beat him in mid and early. How do you deal with this, have you experienced it, and have you also experienced times where the minions are capable of slow similar to serylda's grudge.
I am genuinely interested in your points about these issues. I have others but would rather avoid burdening you with them at this time.
Kind regards,
I don't :p
It's not, it's very mediocre in fact
Thanks a lot :>
I used to go trinity-righteous-visage.
I see that you replaced righteous with sterak as you replaced teleport with ghost. Good idea
I conducted small test myself.
Lv11 300stack attack dummy (100/100 armor/ms) for 15seconds using 1ult, 10Q and 9AA.
Trinity: 3704(+1800 ult)
Iceborn: 3224(+1800 ult)
Sterak : 3442(+1800 ult)
*Sterak was given +20% cd
So we learn that
1. Each spellblade increases dmg by 13% (when activated every 2nd Q)
2. Sterak increases dmg 45% more than Spellblade (increases dmg by 19%)
Of course, the catch is that Sterak don't have 20% cd.
This means Sterak build will have 40% cd on average (60%-》55% means 8% faster Q)
But I'm not sure if 1.2-》1.1s faster Q is noticable.
Can Nasus utilize teleport well with Unsealed?
I also tried it myself, but it seems it can only reliably use once(at the beginning). Unsealed Spellbook does seem to be very useful for teleport sheen timing with ignite vs heal meta champions.
Can Spirit visage replaced by Glorious?
This is related to the 1st question. MS can be supplemented with Mercury Threads, Ult, and Conditioning? Personally I'd have speed over lifesteal.
Is 5% less CD(<0.1s Q) by going Sterak noticable?
I'm leaning to NO, but I'm not sure. Strictly theoretically, 8% faster Q can mean 8% more dmg(and lifesteal)
Can Nasus push back lane after minions crashed?
My biggest struggle as Nasus was when the 3rd Cannon wave crash to my tower and the next wave started pushing. My try was taking 3Beads and take some splash damage with minions while farming Q. But as you also said this is very hard vs some champions. But if you push you can die easily too.
It's nice to see good Unsealed guide. I thought it was dead after the nerf. Keep up good work!
Not really, you absolutely need mobility from ghost and flash to stay relevant in current meta, even then it's sometimes hard to catch your opponents.
Can Spirit visage replaced by Glorious?
Only against teams with no magic damage
Is 5% less CD(<0.1s Q) by going Sterak noticable?
I don't understand the question :p
Can Nasus push back lane after minions crashed?
Yes, you will have to try to slow push, it's described in the guide. It won't always work (especially against challenger players), but if you do it correctly you should be fine
I used your build and it seems to be working very well!
I have few small questions btw.
1. What should Nasus do if champion like Darius just stand in front of minions? If I try to get CS, he would cut my hp by 50%. Even Shen seem to do this nowadays.
2. Should I stick with my team even when there are no baron or dragon up? I noticed that my stack counts are much lower nowadays.
Waiting for your next youtube video :)
2. No, if there are no objectives at all you should stay in the side lane.
I just got demoted..TT Very sad day..
I think there are two main reasons for my defeats:
1. In the early game, I offer to leash jungle but he declines for his own strategic reasons. My enemy top pushes lane to my tower then helps enemy jungle invade our buff. I can't sacrifice my minions so ally jungle either loses buff or life...
Or I do leash his buff, but enemy top is waiting on the triangle bush and cuts my hp by 70%
2. I don't have teleport and enemy top do have teleport. I keep sticking with my team but we can't secure objective because enemy 4 would harrass us. Meanwhile, enemy top keep splitpush and hit Lv18. If I do splitpush without teleport, my 4 teammates would INITIATE teamfight despite my 10 warning pings, enemy top teleports, and gets destroyed...
* Having ghost is VERY helpful at lane solokill and teamfight! This certainly helped.
Thanks for always answering me.
