I love that Nami got buffed again in the recent patch. So I checked your guide and wondered on your opinion on going Domination seconday with Ultimate Hunter and Eyeball Collection. I only tried out these runes in some games but they worked pretty well. I feel that it generally feels amazing having the possibility to ult about two times in teamfights in late game and the W Ebb and Flow still hurts quite a bit.
Otherwise great guide, as expected. :b
Cheers, Wicked Cherry. β₯
That's an interesting concept for sure, but idk if it'll actually allow you to ult twice in teamfights.
After crunching the numbers, Nami's ultimate at lvl 16 is 100s CD.
Normal CDR is calculated first, then Ultimate hunter.
100s cooldown ultimate 40% cdr puts it at 60s Then ultimate hunter removes 25% (fully stacked) of whatβs left. Total remaining cd = 45s.
So you'd only be able to use it every 45 seconds, and that's at lvl 16, which Nami almost never reaches in soloQ games.
Also, Eyeball Collection is not optimal on Nami because Ghost Poro and Zombie Ward give you the same AP while ALSO giving you extra vision for your support role.
Personally, I'd rather have more lane dominance with things such as Biscuit Delivery | Cosmic Insight or Revitalize | Bone Plating.
As I always say though, if it works for you and you're winning with it, then why change it? Do whatever works for you and helps you win! :D
Thanks for interesting comment Cherry, I enjoyed theorizing about this one!
It worked and still works for me. Itβs true that 45 seconds sound like a lot, but if you ult in first, you will soon realize that especially in late game, fights tend to drag out and Iβm usually able to use my ultimate at least twice. I know it sounds ridiculous but itβs actually really fun - at least if youβre playing Nami or are in her team.
Personally, I dislike the Ghost Poro and Zombie Ward combination. The extra vision is a good point but it only remains for 60 seconds. Usually, I have four wards (3 trinket wards + 1 pink) out. I know it feels like it could be more, but I normally animate my team mates to help me ward if I think theyβre neglecting this kind of task.
I have to admit, that I usually went with Revitalize last season, but I felt that it wasnβt strong enough for my liking and kind of play style. I hardly ever use potions and Biscuit Delivery would kinda feel like a waste to me - unless Iβm fighting heavy poke laners.
I think it really comes down to personal liking and play style here. But I really liked exchanging thoughts and experiences with you on that matter, too. :]

All the best for you and Iβm looking forward to our next discussion. :3
There's another really popular build popping up on probuilds.net and I've recently wanted to try it more and more.
Have you tried the Guardian build?
I think it would work nicely against burst-y comps but you'd barely be able to trade in lane and Guardian has such a long cooldown compared to Summon Aery.
leagueoflegends.fandom.com/wiki/Guardian apparently says that Guardian can trigger on Nami's Aqua Prison too?
Anyways, sorry for random reply, just wondering if you tried it lately haha
It makes sense that it triggers on her Q Aqua Prison since it does deal damage. But I wouldn't build Guardian on Nami - rather against her. Although it probably does make sense against real hard laners, like Nautilus. If he landed his Q Dredge Line and possibly even procs his passive stun on you or one of your team mates nearby, you're stunned for like 3 seconds. Therefore this additional shield can help you sustain against him more.
To be honest, I hate playing safe since I mainly consider it boring. I know it's important and I do play safe whenever I have to but it's not the kind of play style I like or excell at. xD
No worries. I'm happy to discuss such things. It's fun. :]
It's really up to your playstyle, but I prefer to be able to win lane with laning runes and then transition that lead into mid-late game, not to mention a lot of probuilds.net builds also take these exact runes for this very reason.
You can take a later approach with Gathering Storm and Transcendence though if you know you won't be able to win lane and actually be more useful later.
Cheers!
