What would you believe are some core items that can be used for basically all match-ups? Would trinity force always be the item to go for first or should I be going for something else according to the situation?

Also if the enemy team was very tanky would you think taking resolve as the main rune can be beneficial or would it be a waste and lessen my damage greatly?

And one more thing, what would you believe is the best way to combat ? Every time I have fought him so far, I am incapable of denying him farm as I don't have enough damage early on, and he keeps healing because of his passive allowing him to farm easily and eventually win in the mid-late game. I would really appreciate some tips or suggestions.

Yeah trinity force is way too cost effective for I would personally always get it, but some ppl do go the cleaver and iceborn gauntlet route which is also decent if you're looking to be more tanky and less splitpushy,

Resolve with grasp primary is ok in really hard matchups where you are trying to survive, if the enemy is really tanky you would definitely want though. I would say I take conqureor in 90% of my games on

I'm still working on the matchup section of this guide, but for Nasus matchup here are a few tips: building executioners calling can be great, max w second (he has no way to escape it) if he ults early you can just W him and disengage if you don't win the fight, if you fight him with your maiden + 4 ghouls you should win once you have trinity but you may have to kite him around a bit and let your ghouls and maiden do a lot of work, pushing him in early and looking to dive him with your jungler or rotate into their jungle with him can be good option since nasus can't do anything about it early, midway through the lane I usually try to freeze the wave, have him come up to stack, and then trap him and summon maiden and you should be able to take him down.

I actually prefer Demolish for better platings and splitpush
And Second Wind to survive lanning phase better.

Just started Yorick and I noticed it often comes to me winning or losing the lane phase. As I can draw lot's of enemy attention if I am fed. If I lost the lane phase my team has to deal with 4x5 or splitpushing enemy.
Need full match up really hard. I especially struggle against Illaoi (and it is not like I catch every E from her) and Tryndamere.

great guide except for the fact that darius is a treat. darius is the easiest lane for yorick. change my mind.

I say in the matchup that you outscale him, but it is a very hard lane, especially for people that are new to the matchup which most reading the guide are going to be, you can't really trade with him early laning phase so I'd say it's a hard laning phase.
