This is what i wrote in other only support build. Second ability set is much better than first one as support. Make a main build as tank build for support. Only if you play on top as Maokai is OK to do AP build. You have LVL and money to do AP build. Turbo Chemtank is for champions with an extra move speed, Maokai is slow as hell. The best tank item for Maokai support is Evenshroud. As Maokai support, your job is to make easy damage to your teammates. Second item, Zake's Convergence vs squishy enemies or Knight's Vow vs fighters with tons of healing together with at least Bramble Vest. Third item, both Zake's and Knight's or Winter's Approach. Abyssal Mask is an option if your team has AP champions enemy team same.

This support build make no sense. I play as Maokai support 70%+ WR and 30% things in this build is wrong.

Honestly i haven't been playing maokai in general for some time, but what is exactly wrong in the builds? and which ones? there are a couple of them, tank, ap, support.

I commented again what I wrote in other only support guide. Your guide is much better, but still 10% attack speed ? Maokai has no damage he needs to knock back and root enemies, so much better is 8 ability haste. Main sup item to regenerate manna so Maokai can spam E many times. Inspiration to sorcesery or precision. Manna regeneration, this is what Maokai needs. Only Aftershock and no demolish or bone planting in resolve runes. Just play a bit and change every thing, count what is best. In 50 min game using Font of live healed 6k hp in my one game. Conditioning or second wind is perfect, but no Bone planting. For what enemy will hit you once you will root him knock back and 1.5s time gone he will then do his combo on you, and usually they target ADC.

Answering both this and the other coments you made. Yeah i agree ability haste is better than atk speed on supp maokai, though it isn't that bad, atk speed let's you get some additional autos off during early fights, and maokai has quite good AD and Atk speed, also it's useful to prock our passive quicker.
I didn't recommend demolish for supp, i know font of life is better, only for mao top.
bone plating is used a lot in general, that's why i recommend it, since it's the "standard" and safest option, but obviously in certain games second wind and conditioning are really good. The reason of going bone plating is so you reduce the enemy's damage when you for an all-in, for example vs a blitz - draven, and obviously you have to play accordingly and not let it get procked for free, it makes early engages way safer because of the reduced damage, also while rooted adc's can still hit you.

As for the AP build, i know it's kinda bad, but it's still an option, the imperial + demonic one still gives you tankyness with some damage for E, so i don't think it's really bad.
Though it's true that i should note this thigns in the guide, for example when you want to go AP and when full tank, since some builds are off-meta or options to consider.
In poke lanes obviosuly it is bad.

Ap build as support is only OK when in your team there are already 2 tanks and your team need a bit more damage. The problem is you have that kind of games 1 of 30. Bone planting is triggered for 1.5s when you root an enemy he will hit you and trigger it, then you knock back the enemy, so he will have 0.75s to make another 3 hits to you. Support Allred uses his abilities because you dodge them, so you end up blocking 1 max 2 hits if you're lucky.

Maokai at full build with the is so insane looking, hes gigantic xD. I always wanted to try out Maokai, this guide was really helpful :)

Overall well done on the guide, but I noticed some reoccurring formatting errors, and I know you wanted viewers to mention them so I will do so.

When you write a question, you are generally adding "¿" before the question. (Example: ¿Why Maokai?) In English, we do not use that for our questions, we simply have the question mark at the end. (Example: Why Maokai?) You also do a similar thing with your Exclamation Points, having "!" in front of the statement and "¡" after it. Instead, we just have "!" at the end.
