Description

Welcome to my Bot Lane tier list! (I will update this regularly every patch!)

In my tier list, I will show the best picks to take on the top lane for the current patch ranking from S (highest) to C (lowest)

S Tier Tier 1

These are the best so far in solo queue. It's either because they're easy, or they have a hard skill cap but they are rewarding.

A TIER Tier 2

If played well, they will hyper carry especially if they have good synergy with their support.

B Tier Tier 3

Does well if you counter pick the enemy and if you play the champion well.

C TIER Tier 4

Not really that healthy in solo queue, but they can still do ok if used well and paired with a good support.

Agreed with most of all.
The only thing I would change is Jhin at least in A-tier. It's a difficult champ to play with, but in the right hands he can outrange every other matchup and be a heavy bully in lane, also with high potential in teamfights with his ult.

The reason why Jhin isn't that much on a higher tier, is because of his 4 shots function which can be easily outshined by ADC's that specialize in very fast DPS for example, Jinx. Jhin requires items to get strong in the late game, if not, it'll be hard to be of use to the team, though he can provide CC, and has a big ultimate that can slow. Jhin doesn't have much mobility which most assassin's can abuse. Of course, this doesn't mean he's a bad pick, once in the hand of a good player he can do extremely well.

Ziggs ADC in the A tier??? can you please explain ur choice

Ziggs ADC has been discovered long ago already, probs 4-5 years ago I'm not sure but it's around that time. The reason why Ziggs is a strong off meta ADC in the bot lane is 1. He has a lot of poke 2. Has mobility 3. Can demolish towers 4. AOE burst 5. Pair this dude with Veigar and you'll dominate most bot lane match ups. Ziggs once fed is hella scary.

What's your thoughts on adc? I've seen some people try it and work out well but I'm not main adc so I dunno if it's really good. I like to know why she shouldn't be played as ADC. I mean, she builds crit items and is ranged... when is between ADCs why she cannot be? I'm just asking for your oponion, as I said, I'm not a ADC main. I'm trying to learn ADC role. I'm currently learning , , and .

Oh, I forgot to add Quinn into the list then I guess, well, due to her assassin like kit, strong roam potential, and blind cc. She can be played bot, but because of her kit, it would be better if she wasn't, since she has to roam with her ult, and bot lane just forces her to stick with a support which cannot match her speed when roaming. But, she would be in B tier just because though she can be good especially paired with a good engage support, she just isn't reliable in solo queue and other ADC's are more consistent.

What are your opinions on Senna ADC? I mean is she only good as a counterpick or is she decent in your opinion if you are decent at her?

Oh oop, I forgot to add Senna? Well she is a A tier because of her really really unfair range advantage and strong poke and her global cooldown. But the problem is, she isn't as mobile as some champions. Her poke, her cc, and her ghoul skill make her a really good champion for the ADC role, but other ADC's just outdamage her even with full items.

Kalista same as tresh ad?.. are you ****ing kidding me?:DD

Kalista is still a good champion, but still is outshined by the rest in the meta because of her stacking spears playstyle where others have more reliable DPS. But, she is very overpowered in the top lane.

Yes, top lane kalista can be very good if you play her well :D

I think Aphelios should be moved up, since his sniper rifle is OP, I mean, the range and damage is ridiculous, and you can poke your enemy, or ensure that they get no farm. Also, mf is a very weak early gamer (through personal experience) and can be poked easily by someone like Ashe.

I can see your point about MF, I'll lower her now that I think about it. But the reason why Aphelios is not in a high tier, is because of his really complex kit, it is really hard to get used to him and master him even after a lot of games with him. Many ADC's with much more simpler but more explosive kits like Tristana, can give a stronger impact.

I get what you mean, i play both but find aphelios harder, since you gotta switch weapons rapidly where as with trist, you can just hide in a brush, throw a bomb on their head and just q them.

Yep, but it doesn't mean Aphelios is a bad pick, if you mastered him and know how to fight his match ups, then there's no problem with that, if that's the case then I can say for sure it's no problem for you to pick him for solo queue all the time. But yep, difficulty is the reason why he isn't in the highest tier.

Hey ItsPaulygon,
I really like your tier list. Overall I can agree with most picks and honestly, I have to admit that your tier 5 including its description really amused me and made me laugh. You're absolutely right about that! I wonder if I should just dodge (not a keen dodger, but sometimes you don't have a choice) when someone locks in - or even ! Not to mention that much luck of players doesn't even deserve to be called 'bad luck' because 1/1000 players can play him well. So meh. But that's a different topic and I've seen that he can be played quite well (by one of my premade friends), so I've been slightly convinced of why he should be rather in the upper tiers - even when most people in my elo don't really seem to get him. Not your fault, . :<

Anyway! Great list. +1 and sorry for babbling and freeing my anger. xD

Honestly, I'm always terrified to Jinx in solo queue. If my support isn't worth their beans, I'm dead in the water. I need a support that can carry me until I get my set up and running and I'm an actual threat, and sometimes solo queue can't do that. I've been abandoned by my support before, and like... there's really nothing I can do in that position.

Well, if I do get a Jinx on the enemy team, I request my support to take a strong engage support like Leona, Thresh, or Blitzcrank because of Jinx's low mobility. I advise taking a poke ADC or someone with higher base damage than Jinx. My suggested picks would be Draven, Sivir, or Ezreal. It all depends on how well you and your support play in the lane. Just get an advantage on Jinx and don't let her snowball. Also I suggest finding a friend to duo with.

Is graves even adc?:D

I've seen him been Utilized in the bot lane before and he can do well if used right and with a good engage support too. The only downside to him being in the bot lane is his lack of range. But despite that, he can still be played against some champions like Varus.
