Heard LS mention this on the Pog State from the LCK broadcast, and am glad there was a detailed guide here for me! Really want to try it out.

Why don't you use overgrowth or buy warmogs?? ( just curious :) guide looks good, just new and trying to understand. also why is future's market used again??

Righteous Glory also gives health regen so Warmogs would be an overbuy in jng (and also you sometimes also buy redemption which gives even more health regen).

Future's market is used ot buy items from the jng faster early game with your passive to maintain healthier clears and have strong gangs early.

This guide surely did a lot of good since each Ornn player casually selects the first one that pops up. I have still not tried it, I will indeed when I try to play Ornn for the first time. Tell me one simple answer, is this guide appropriate for 1st-time players, or only for the advanced ones? You have a vote from me already, thank you for contributing! Best regards, berroni.

Ornn is not a very hard champion but I believe that it's better to try him top first for a few times so that you can test his limits when it comes to dueling. Thanks for the kind words as well. <3

Yo man this is awesome first game I played today I went 8/2/24 got an S- this is so fun.
I have always liked Ornn and I am a jungle main so I thought why not. The fact that I never backed until like level 11 because of passive made me so much stronger than other junglers I thank you for making this guide because this is like the only one up to date. But could you update you counter and works with part because that list heparin as broken and in 10.11 he is not that broken and not played that much either. Thank you

Have a good day,
Chickenbalogna

Hey thanks for the great guide.
I gotta ask how does Ornn handle big targets like dragons?
When i fought the first dragon (at lvl7, empty game) the damn thing nearly killed my Ornn despite already having a full Cinderhulk (no smite was ready).
Seems very weak vs big targets like dragon?
Thanks!

He is not very strong against Dragons and Herald indeed, always do it with help. He still can solo a dragon with cinderhulk and smite quite ok if he is healthy iirc...

What's his clear route though?

He can do full read side and he can also do full blue +scuttle to reach lvl 3. He can also do blue, red, krugs, scuttle an dgang. he can follow almost every jungle path he wants. Especially considering that with his passive he can build a machete as well, his early clear is fine. He doesn't even struggle to clear the raptors that much. The onyl thing is to remember to procc the brittle passive to as many monsters as possible. Also use his passive to build a jungle item, a ruby crystal and boots.

Do you think an ad build would be viable for oorn?

Dreadscythe95 (1) | October 20, 2019 2:59pm
Actually imo no. All tanks can do dmg with an offensive build but it's not worth the tankyness you lose. Especially Ornn, doesn;t have as high AD or AP ratios as some other tanks like Ammumu or Malphite. Also you need to build at least two AD items beffore you feel the difference and you will probably get snowballed till then. Ornn needs the sheen effect. You can go for a trinity force if you want a more offensive path and it's a good buy but imo nothing more.

I like the breakdown of this off meta champ. I think he does a great job of explaining situations where Ornn is weak and how to play him well. Thanks for the effort!
