I know all that happened, I really hope things are going okay, I know many people probably said the same and yoU,re tired of hearing it, but i'm stil saying it. I hope everything went ok (sadly i missed the video but a friend told me what was said in it). I wish you a nice day.
And I changed triumph to overheal because it massively increases shieldbash dmg and let's you rush vamp scepter after boots.
But I really struggle dealing with bruisers and tanks and Divine Sunderer was buffed so I made a new build: same runes, Berserks Bork (bramble) Divinesunderer Bramble Wits Tabis/Mercs Gargoyles+Thornmail.
The pre-mitigation healing with sunderer is a lot better than eclipse because it ignores armor and any dmg reduction. The first hit to a tank even ignores bramble vest because the healing is applied before bramble vest but that might get fixed next patch. PTA increases divine's dmg but same thing as with damage reduction it doesn't increase the healing. Still a lot better than conq. Divine also counters AS reducttors like nasus W because they don't impact your Q cd. So you're basically an assassin midgame and transition into an off-tank lategame(can still oneshot squishies and shred tanks but you have no anti shield). The cdr is also better for dashing and windwall cooldown which can be very important.
Here's a clip when I reached full build(I perfectly gargoyled a cho ult with an 850 shield so that it's almsot impossible to see at 12 secs): https://streamable.com/rbtw8j
I had triumph in this clip but I really suggest overheal. It's so strong and even gives some damage early game when full hp with shieldbash.
The gargoyle shield also gives about 150 onhit on 1 attack from shieldbash, same as a deadmans plate proc.
You can tell me here or comment the video, i'll be on touch, since i want to do a montage with this build to share with the community.
Right now I'm using a different build. Same runes but Bork Bramble Wits Steel/Mercs Divinesunderer Gargoyles Thornmail.
You're very tanky, shred tanks and oneshot squishies. No anti shielding but Divine Sunderer helps vs Lulu ult. Anti shielding is only needed when you can't execute enemies with just bork + armor pen which makes your damage come mainly from borks current HP onhit. But since you have Wits and Divine Sunderer you have enough flat damage to kill shielded low HP enemies.
Also Divine Sunderer boosts wits end damage and the heal ignores all damage amplifiers like armor, exhaust, invulnerability but also PTA and armor pen. It also ignores bramble vest on its first attack as Bramble procs after Divine. So you can heal an insane amount even vs a tank with bramble vest and 1000 armor while you build tank items yourself.
The ingame tooltip of divine is missleading. The real effect is on the wiki page: "heal for 7.8% of the targets maximum health"
What about matchups? I personally suck vs lb and vlad.
Leblanc isn't that hard if you respect her enough and trade with her during the right wimdows. Vlad you can ban. His early is beatable but in teamfights he's op and bramble isnt useful vs him.
Sett and Rene are hard. Just roam in those games or wait gank
Also, this build only works with the given runepage or can be flexed into other runes?
1. no PD shield so you can get oneshot quite easily
2. your aa/q damage is based on current HP so if an enemy gets shielded while below 50% HP you'll have below average dmg as the shield doesn't count as HP.
3. Even tho your AoE dmg remains(because your ult does more dmg) your AoE Qs in minion waves do a lot less than crit AoE Qs.
Runes: The issue is that even if your damage is high your attackspeed is low on lane (3450g for Bork(25% AS) while crit has Zeal+Zerkers+Dagger(59% AS) for 3300g). If you go conqueror then you should go zerkers first item before Bork. Conqueror isn't that bad tho.
The build counters Deathsdance users more than crit because of BoRK's onhit(delays dmg so current HP is higher).
But the build also has counters such as high shielding(increases efficient HP but not current HP for BoRKs onhit). So if you play vs Kaisa + Lulu crit will be better because it has DPS that's not based on enemy current HP.
wait = dont autoattack
The damage of your first item is 1.5x as much as crit vs squishy and tanky enemies but this huge difference becomes less over time until the damage is equal to crit lategame.
How does it do damage without crit? If you want 100% critchance for 200% damage on autoattacks you would need to penetrate 100 enemy armor (100 lethality). However if you combine Blade of Ruined King with armor pen you can get similar auto damage than crit and more Q damage because the Q base dmg doesn't crit but benefits from armor pen.
How do I know how much damage BoRK does if it is based on the enemy HP? By taking an enemy with minimal HP(like an adc with 2 level disadvantage) and calculating the average AA and Q dmg like that: (100%HP dmg + 15%HP dmg)/ 2.
While with 50% crit the average dmg is (crit+nocrit)/2.
The average damage of BoRK is 1.5 times as high as the average dmg of dorans + zeal/PD/statikk and the active does 100 magic dmg while statikk does 125 magic dmg.
However while crit's damage is influenced by luck, BoRK's damage is influenced by skill.
If you use flat damage sources such as your Ult, Q base dmg and E for executing an enemy then the total dmg dealt will be above average because the minimal dmg occurs at higher than 15% of their HP.
In short: Crit scales by doubling all AD(as if you had 100 lethality on autoattacks). This builds "crit" damage scales with the enemy base and bonus health which value is multiplied by armor pen. The rest of the damage is just the pure AD multiplied by armor pen.
So what if crit builds BoRK and IE PD instead of Duskblade Cleaver? Crit will outdamage my build but still has way less useful item effects(other than PD shield) and it oneshots minion waves and monsters while armor pen doesn't because minions and raptors have no armor.
Unfortunately my phone broke so all the clips I had to show the build and HoB combos were gone except the ones I recorded on my tablet. I was testing builds for 3 months not to win but to test my build especially when playing from behind or solo carrying games when the team is behind and to also master playing with touchpad and learn certain mechanics such as the topside raptor jump https://streamable.com/ehb58s or wallblade H on touchpad. I mastered both and finished the build after trying every possible combination of items on yasuo that somehow makes sense using items from all classes for 200+ different builds. Every build had certain issues but this build can beat everything and has everything so it lets you do everything. Now I have truly quit and won't come back to league ever again at all because it won't exist anymore anyways and I have achieved everything I wanted to achieve.
Here's the only clip I found when I was full build(I was hella fed but since the build scales with enemy stats it's always similar regardless of enemy stats): https://streamable.com/6x2b1a
Now here an in-depth explanation of the build inc dmg calculations and its mechanics(you'll have 1 month until preseason if you start learning now:
Runes:
Hail of Blades:
Can cap your Q at lvl 1(by autoattacking before Q) for 1 Q, or 2 at the cost of an autoattack. At lvl 6 it lets you keyblade with no bonus attackspeed. Once your Q is capped it's used for faster autoattack animation cancels for quicker assassinations. When you AA + Q / AA + E it's so fast that it looks like it's just a Q or just an E.
Here are 2 examples of how laning with HoB may look like:
https://streamable.com/lx1gmy
https://streamable.com/nibfhl
Here are some of the most useful HoB combos possible without bonus AS:
Basic combo: AA (E)Q1 (wait) (E)Q2 AA (E)Q3
Kiting: AA Q1 Q2 Q3
Short trade: AA (E)Q2 AA (E)Q3
High burst combo1: AA AA AA
High burst combo2: Q AA AA
Level 6+ combos:
Airblade combo: AA (E)Q3 AA EQ1R https://streamable.com/3gpg4n https://streamable.com/6818gv https://streamable.com/4cpu5d https://streamable.com/ukhwjo
Keyblade combo: AA EQ3F AA EQ1R
Airblade combo2: AA Q2 (wait) (E)Q3 AA EQ1R
Keyblade combo2: AA Q2 (wait) EQ3F AA EQ1R
Double AA airblade: AA Q3 AA AA EQ1R
Triblade combo: AA EQ3 EQ1F EQ2R
Sudden Impact: Synergizes well with HoB trades and other burst combos.
Ghost Poro:: Provides longer wards and the exact same stats(18 AD) as eyeball collection but for 5 spotted or 10 unspotted wards instead of 10 takedowns. Idk wtf riot was thinking there.
Ravenous Hunter:: Heals for on-hit effects such as Bork or Duskblade and for 1/3 the amount for your secondary Q hits.
Triumph: Without it you won't be doing many multikills or survive towerdives. It's a core rune for any fighter.
Alacricity: Necessary for permanently capping Q with BoRK and Greaves. Same with the 10% AS.
Summoners
Ghost: This is extremly powerful with this build especially with Hail of Blades(HoB) because of several reasons. 1. it lets you skip AS boots for an earlier Duskblade 2. it can be used to kite with HoB to prevent enemy dmg without loosing dmg yourself making it as worth as ignite in duels 3. it can be used for an early all-in with HoB while the enemy has to flash but not you so you save up your flash for later. 4. It can be used to escape ganks and makes you very hard to gank. 5. It can be used to reach a fight between your jungler and enemy jungler a lot faster than the enemy laner or even catch them running away from the fight. 6. It can be used to early invade the enemy jungler at raptors. 7. It can be used for roaming other lanes with cutlass and fast nado with HoB. The enemy will have no chance to get away and for every kill you get +7s duration for running back to midlane to not loose any CS. 8. It can be used for assassinations as the enemy can't kite you and you get easily into BoRK active range, kill them and run away again. 9. It can be used as escape when splitpushing. 10. It can be used for faster Es and EQs so the enemy needs to react earlier and often doesn't expect it if you use it just before your EQ. 11. The unit colission lets you do certain impossible walljumps.
Items:
Blade of Ruined King(damage calculations: BoRK provides way more dmg than crit. But first the build path vs Zeal: Cutlass takes 1750 gold (inc pots) to buy. Zeal takes 1900 gold (inc dorans, pot. Cutlass + Recurve bow take 2750 gold. Zeal + Greaves take 3000 gold.
Cutlass vs Zeal: Cutlass gives 25 auto/q dmg, 35 R dmg and 100 magic dmg on active. At 80 AD (lvl 6) Zeal grants 50% chance for 64 auto/q dmg so it's 32 auto/q dmg. If you attack 10 times and ult that is 283 physical + 100 magic dmg (worth 107 physical dmg if 10 lower mr) so it's 390 dmg. Zeal does an average of 320 dmg in the same case. Adding conqueror which for 10 attacks gives an average of 5 AD so 7 more dmg each auto which is 70 dmg on 10 autos then it's an average of 390 dmg.
Adding recurve bow to cutlass it'll have the same dmg as zeal + conq + greaves + ignite. The attackspeed is lower so while cutlass/cutlass+recurvebow does 10 autos zeal/zeal+greaves may do 12 but that's why you use Hail of Blades so you can compensate that. The cutlass slow compensates the low movespeed.
Now BoRK + HoB vs Dorans + PD + Conq:
Yasuo will have 90 AD by then and his crits will do 72 extra dmg so an average of 36. Adding conqueror it's +7 AD so an average of 10 per auto so it's an average of 46 extra dmg.
BoRK has 40 AD so alone without the on-hit already does almost equal average dmg. Now vs a squishy with 2 levels disdvantage (1000 HP) you do an average bonus dmg of (1000x0l2 + 15)/2 = 67,5 average extra dmg. If you ult to kill this increases even more as the min dmg is higher than 15. So Bork vs a squishy adc does at least 107.5 extra average dmg and is 90+107.5 = 197.5 total dmg while PD+Conq does at least 90+46 = 136 dmg. (BoRK also adds 33 more AD to ult than conq which is 50 more ult dmg)
So BoRK does a minimum of 1.5 times the average dmg of PD + Conq.
But crit gets bomus armor pen from ult? Bork gets increased dmg vs bonus HP without having to ult.
Duskblade(Damage calculations):
At about lvl 13 (when you finish your core) Yasuos AD without items is 100. Crit now has a Statikk+IE (or PD+IE) so the crits do 202% dmg with IE passive. IE is 80 AD. So autos do 363, Q does 488.
BoRK + Dusk is 200 AD and 18 armor pen. A squishy enemy will have at least 1500 HP and the minimum damage they can take from an auto will be at about 200 HP. (1500x0.12 + 200x0.12)/2 +200 = 302. 302x1.18 = 356 average aa dmg. (302+125)x1.18 = 503 average q dmg.
So the average autodamage and (aslong as you use onhit Qs) the Q damage is exactly the same as a crit auto or Q. However if you ult to execute BoRK Dusk will do more auto/q damage and if you ult at the start it'll do less auto/q dmg.
So what if I want to damage multiple enemies with Q? Your AoE of Q is weaker but your Ult does more which is also AoE. 1 non on-hit Q does 383 while a crit Q does 488. If you Q multiple enemies twice that's 205 less damage on enemy2+. Crit ult does 380 damage. Your ult does 590 damage. That's 210 more damage from ult. So not only do enemies2+ get the same total damage but also enemy1 gets more total damage.
What about statikk passive vs duskblade passive? Statikk does 125 magic dmg. Bork active does 100 magic dmg. Duskblade does 115 physical dmg.
Here's an example of just a casual EQ AA R Q AA combo (without dusk passive or bork active): https://streamable.com/dnfbb8
Deathsdance(damage calculation):
At lvl 16 Yas has 115 AD without items. IE + DD is 130 AD. AA does 495 dmg. Q does 620 dmg. Ult does 710 dmg.
Bork + Dusk + DD is 150 AD 20 armor pen. A squishy enemy has at least 1800 HP. The minimum dmg the enemy can take from an auto without dying is at about 300 HP. (1800x0.12+300x0.12)/2 = 126. AA does 470 average dmg. Q does 620 dmg. AoE Q does 468 dmg. Ult does 888 dmg.
As you can see the Q dmg is the same instead of 5% higher and the auto dmg is 5% lower. That's because crit doubles deathsdance AD while lethality only multiplies it by 120%.
Still the ult dmg is higher by a way bigger amount so the single target combo dmg is still a lot higher.
Just don't forget that all damage was calculated against enemies with minimal amounts of base HP with no bonus HP. If anyone builds HP or has higher base HP Bork Dusk DD wins. If the enemy builds no HP but pure armor like Zhonyas then PD IE DD wins aslong as he ults first.
What if the enemy builds Deathsdance? BoRK counters deathsdance because the bleed effect makes the current HP stay higher than it actually is so BoRK deals more dmg to them. You can see it well in this clip(fiora had deathsdance): https://streamable.com/arzaba
Combined with Mortal Reminder that makes Deathsdance nearly useless.
Now the item mechanics.
Blade of Ruined King(mechanics): BoRK is a linear version of crit chance. The more current HP the enemy has the more dmg you do. So anything that lowers enemy HP but doesn't come from BoRK should be used when the enemy is low HP to increase the average dmg of BoRK's onhit. Thats why you prefer to ult at the end of a combo than at the start. It's also why AA + Q does slightly more dmg than Q + AA. So since BoRK does very high dmg at the start it can be used as high burst item combined with a flat dmg execute such as yas ult or his q base dmg.
However there's also a benefit in having low auto dmg to low HP enemies. You can excute them with your E a lot easier than if all your autos did the average dmg like it is with crit.
If the enemy isn't low enough to kill for your E but won't survive another auto then you can use E + BoRK Active. For example you can dash in, get enemy low HP, kill it with E and at the same time dash away or even over a wall.
The BoRK active can also be used before or after throwing your nado or EQing to make sure the enemy can't dodge it.
Duskblade(mechanics):
This item gives you an enhanced attack that slows by 99% for 0.25s that goes on CD for 1s of not being seen after being seen for 5s by a ward or nearby champion.
Knowing whenever you are seen is very high utility for your team and very useful for yourself.
When you walljump you know if whatever camp you use is warded.
When you ambbush from a bush or monster camp it is always safe to do it.
When you splitpush you know if an enemy champion is nearby.
When you take dragon or baron you know if its warded.
Whenever you dash or walljump out of vision you get the passive back.
The slow lets you AA + Q for a free Q hit or Q + AA AA for 2 free fast HoB autos.
You can nado(proc dusk) while out of vision, wait 1s then either Ult + AA (proc dusk) or EQ(proc dusk)R for double dusk procs.
You can throw a nado right before or after getting out of vision so duskblade is ready right before the nado hits (instead of waiting until its ready before throwing nado).
An example of a godlike assassination would be: Walljump in with a raptor, burst enemy with a dusk proc, kill enemy with E and at the same timejump back over the raptor wall with it, use another raptor to get back in and proc duskblade again. You can also use this to increase BoRKs average dmg by dashing out after the enemy is low HP and back in to execute it with another dusk proc.
One of the main purposes of duskblade however is to be able to burst enemies that are 50% HP or less without stacking your nado for ult. (since Bork does low dmg vs low HP enemies)
Black Cleaver:
It has the same job as PD to increase your efficient HP by about 1000 if combined with deathsdance and to give you movespeed in fights. Also while crit gives bonus armor pen after ulting this reduces enemy armor within 6 instances of damage. It'll let you kill the enemy frontline together with your team more easily after oneshotting their backline. Also your AoE Qs will add stacks so once you switch autoattacking to them they take increased damage by BoRK. The CDR is also good for multiple ults in long fights or more frequent windwalls to block high range such as Zoe E or lux Q.
That should be it. I'll answer questions regarding the build here but not other questions.
https://streamable.com/3gpg4n
Still maybe if you go Prowlers Crawl 2nd instead of new duskblade it could be a strong build. 104 bonus AD + 27 lethality + a dash doing more dmg than duskblade and with 30% armor reduction combined with Bork's onhit seems pretty damn strong. Probably even stronger than Bork + Dusk now but I guess everything will be op so I can't tell.
