I love the graphics and the matchup guide. I don't know about the Sett matchup though. Most Sett Mains agree that Urgot is stronger early due to E and passive AND Urgot outscales Sett.

Well the scaling aspect I directly listed when I said " Later into the game you can fight him easily but should still respect the true damage from his W". And it depends honestly on what you mean by early. Level 1 is Urgot favored, past that I would say is sett favored for the fact that if Urgot does not kill Sett in the fight, Sett can just heal from passive whereas Urgot cannot. He can just out attrition you while taking poor trades. He doesn't have to win the trade to win the fight. Just my take on it though. Urgot absolutely outscales though. Keep in mind I am more of a passive person in lane, and that Sett is one of the strongest tops right now, and I absolutely could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time. Glad you like the guide though! <3

Hey, solid guide, man. I've been trying to get out of the Silver pit and revising my build with your suggestions has been a serious help. You haven't mentioned Sterak's at all though, except for a passing mention in Goredrinker's description. Do you just prefer building tankier, or is there some drawback to it most don't consider?

I guess I should have Sterak's listed with the following. Sterak's is a stable tank/fighter item. Everyone buys it. Camille. Sett. Darius. Everyone. Except Urgot. Why? Urgot is ranged. The healing and shielding is nearly cut in half for ranged users. If it wasn't for this one exception Urgot would absolutely build this item. However with the reductions I don't really find it a great item right now. Maybe it will change in the future though. I keep this item on my radar at all times. Right now though Stoneplate does the same job of granting a large shield without the ranged penalty. Hopefully though Sterak's will be an item Urgot can build someday.

Makes sense to me. I never really noticed the ranged nerf, so I can totally see why you get Sterak's then. I guess if you needed anti-burst with some AD, you could always just go Death's Dance instead. Thanks, man.

Hey! thank you so much for the guide! Trying to get into Urgot as a casual player but in the future maybe even in ranked! Keep it up.

Hey there, really great guide! I came across a single small mistake though: Maokai's passive Sap Magic only heals him and doesn't deal bonus damage. Other from that 10/10 guide.

Huge congratulations on your well-deserved contest win!

Hey man, just wanted to let you know this is probably the best and most in depth guide for any champ I've ever tried to pick up, I'm already doing really well with him, getting a couple S' in my first 10 games with him, can't thank you enough for making such an incredible guide for people who want to play Urgot! I wish I could give this more than one vote

Happy to hear it! Doing my best to keep everything up to date. Looking forward to if these nerfs are enough for Tahm Kench.

hi there, wonderful guide, really cleared up a lot of things and made the soloq pain easier. there is one thing id love to ask, im new to urgot so I do not understand 1 thing about itemization, some urgot mains rush their mythic some delay it for second spot or even third spot, when should i rush or delay mythic and in which mythic situations should I do so? thanks for the guide and response in advance :)

I think it is mostly up to your preference, what you find yourself enjoying and performing better on, as well as what the game calls for. If you are against an Ornn, Sejuani, Viegar, Xayah, and Zyra, you probably want Beef though titanic or some other item rather than youd want to rush stridebreaker since they don't have any dashes besides Sej Q. This by no means implies you can't or shouldnt go stride first, you can, its just not required as compared to Irelia, Shaco, Yasuo, Ezreal, and Karma. I hope that makes sense! And I am glad you enjoyed the guide. Feel free to catch me in the Urgot discord, or add me on discord @ Urgotem#4813
