Hi!
Why is Triforce good against tanks but Divine is never good?
Isn't %pen better than some ad and on-hit movespeed specifically against tanks?
Or attack speed is too valuable to pass on in such cases?

Edit. Also, why is nashors bad? When you're solo ap, getting the highest base attack speed item that also gives a lot of ap for W scaling seems good (also improves the waveclear, allowing to E-R oneshot the ranged minios)

By highest base attack speed I mean you get full value immediately without stacking (otherwise PD obviously gives more)

Why Treasure Hunter over Ingenious?
I can see 550 gold being useful especially with how cheap some of Kog'Maw items are, but for building Rocketbelt/Shieldbow/other high cd items Ingenious hunter might give insane value

Ingenious hunter is a wonderful rune to have for scaling, but as soon as you hit 2 items on kogmaw you basically have already won the match. Treasure hunter allows you to spike as soon as possible, and snowball from there.
TL;DR both extremely viable, up to preference. I just like treasure hunter more

There's one for no enchanter, so does that mean all the other rune pages mean u have an enchanter?

Personally I never pick kog unless I have an enchanter, as I think he's not the best without one. All of the runepages are generally subjective though, they can all be used with and without one. Just try them out and see what feels the best for you!

What do you think about Riftmaker?

Not a fan of it, if you really want an ap mythic then protobelt gives you significantly more useful stats along with a 40sec cd dash (or go crown)
If you really want the healing then you're better off going bloodthirster, especially since rageblade procs lifesteal effects twice on each doubleproc

Really nice guide, i tried some of the builds and must say they're pretty fun to play with. Hyped for further updates on this :D

Question - is protobelt worth buying on attack-speed build just for the dash it provides?
Like, stat-wise - AP is ok, HP is good, haste is whatever, pen is ok; and dash has 40s cd while nerfed Galeforce's dash has 110s cd

Edit. also - what is the difference between 'dive' and 'heavy dive'? i feel like for Kog every dive is heavy. is it just dependant on the way those divers apply damage (burst or more sustained damage)?

Protobelt is fantastic! I'll be adding it to the guide soon once I test it out some more. I think kog is actually decent against dive as long as you land your q, so I consider heavy dive something like a nocturne + galio, or kled + diana, etc. Normal dive would just be a single assassin or bruiser jumping on you. If you struggle a lot against dive-oriented comps then you need to position safer in teamfights (farther away) and maybe try out cosmic insight so your flash/exhaust is ready to use more often!
