Any cringe-y or embarrassing moment that happened to you on this site? I don't expect anything huge, just little things that make you feel a little embarrassed when you look back to them :D

To give you some confidence to speak up, I'll start with mine:

A couple of years back there was this legendary Mobafire member @ jhoijhoi. She disappeared from MFN few years ago so I doubt all of you know/remember her (though I have no doubts you know her masterwork, Making a guide). Anyway one day she commented on my Soraka guide and was really nice to me UwU. It was the second comment I have ever received, and it came from someone with blue name and like a thousand reputation points. Long story short I entered a full-on fanboy-mode with my reply. Since then I have edited the comment (it was so cringe >.<) but using the history tracker built in our profiles I was able to recover the beginning of my reply:

God I can't >.< XD (Imagine if someone used "The Big Mobafire mother" as your title xddd)
Since then I have learned to tone down my enthusiasm when someone cool thinks my guide is cool.
But I am still fanboying in my head, even to this day :D

I had like a dozen more over the years, like calling Katasandra "Sandra" (I cringe about it to this day) or this o.o - but I feel like my reply to jai was the biggest one :D

(Please don't tell me I'm the only one here with such experiences :D)

Unfortunately I must say... not really. Looking at my old comments just makes me smile and makes me remember that I used to do more stuff on the site in the past (I guess it also makes me a little bit sad?). There is perhaps one comment that can be considered "cringe", but I still stand behind it.

That being said, reading "Sandra" still fills me with a deep sense of unease and discomfort...

I don't think I have any such stories to share, so my only "story" will be the fact that I have an unpublished in-depth Shyvana Support guide that I will never publish.
If I published it, that would certainly be my most embarrassing story on mobafire.
AP Shyvana is perfectly balanced, and super fun to play against!

I feel relieved in a weird way, to know that I am not the only one with such guides.

Also, wow, that's a lot of guides. I have only a few, and none of them are anywhere near finished (Except for the Shyvana guide, which is actually finished, even if extremely outdated)

Also, here is a picture of my unpublished guides so you have something to laugh at :)
Yuumi is a really hard champion, with a high skill cap.

Wait you haven't mentioned the guide is about support Shyvana :DD
Okay now I totally understand your concerns xd

Don't get me wrong, I consider myself a very open-minded off-meta support main (off-meta support s make 90% of my total champion pool),
But after playing support Shyvana during the last Mobafire Ironman challenge for like 5 games in the row before I finally managed to complete the challenge,
I can say that the pain was unexplainable :D

But who knows maybe your guide would actually save me there as I had no idea what to build on her in that time xd
We need more support Shyvana guides on this site to prevent any further players from going through this pain :D
If you were to ever change your mind and publish it, feel free to DM me - I'd really love to see your work! <3

I said it was a support guide in the first comment xD

Also, it was a ... rather weird build. Used Moonstone Renewer (Back when its mythic passive was ability haste). I think I actually had a decent winrate with it, more than 50%. But now Moonstone Renewer is bad on non-enchanters :(

Also, off-meta supports are one of my favorite things in league (Well, off-meta as a whole, but I also really like support, so), though a lot of my friends stopped playing league, and league isn't really fun alone :(

Best thing in league is if you're a full team so you can play any off-meta stuff you want :D
I've tried a lot, and I can say that you can actually have great success with even the craziest strategies. I think the best ones we found was Double jungle and our Sett + 4 supports with no jungler, both of which we played in flex sometimes.
AP Shyvana is perfectly balanced, and super fun to play against!
