Of course, Ziggs is played as a support by the type of Xerath or Vel'Koz is even better than them in some aspects (for example, playing against initiators).
The runes and the build are the same as Ziggs on mid.
Well, now to the gameplay: we play aggressively against utility and try to throw it or ADС to ourselves with Satchel Charge, Against initiators I advise to hold Satchel Charge to break the initiation. And I will immediately answer the counter question: Glacial Augment is bad for Ziggs, since Satchel Charge throws the target out of the icy zones.
In principle, the choice is universal, good against everyone, but I do not consider Ziggs as a support in the guide, since I decided to make a guide specifically for Ziggs mid.
Good Luck!
I don't use First Strike on Ziggs and I don't recommend it to you for several reasons:
1. Arcane Comet allows you to deal more damage on the lane, thereby you can quickly force the enemy to return to base.
2. First Strike gives little gold, so the gold you get while the enemy is not on the lane will be more than gold with First Strike.
3. Without a Sorcery and Precision together, you will quickly run out of mana, and this is very bad for Ziggs.
Thanks for feedback and good luck!
Personally, it's easier for me to play with a Legend: Alacrity, but you're right that you can take the attack speed in adaptive runes and Coup de Grace. I will definitely indicate this in the notes, thanks for the comment.
I really like the design of this guide, simple green and red for good and bad stuff.
what do you think about Winter's Approach on Ziggs? seems good for assassins matchups where you do not need damage
I think that Winter's Approach doesn't make sense, because you can take a Zhonya's Hourglass or Banshee's Veil against assassins. We will also lose a lot of poke and damage, because we will not receive ability haste from Seraph's Embrace.
