I'm just level 26 so I have no rank. I really like Kayn, although i find the jungle role to be a bit difficult. Any help would be very helpfull and againt thanks for the guide <3
I might’ve made some mistakes in the translation, but I hope everything’s clear!
1. Conqueror vs Dark Harvest
Personally, I pick Conqueror assuming I’ll be playing as a frontline, soaking up damage. That’s why I need sustain during teamfights (plus Conq gives bonus AD).
On the other hand, there’s Dark Harvest. I’d say it’s a situational rune — useful when you’re not planning to tank a lot of damage. It gives tons of bonus damage, especially later in the game.
It’s less effective in 5v5 teamfights, but has more burst potential against 1 or 2 targets.
Summary:
2. Bans
I wouldn’t say Shaco is a hard matchup. All you really need to do is press Oracle Lens and avoid stepping on his W boxes.
Almost always, before he uses Q or R, you should press your R (especially in 1v1 or 1v2 fights).
As for my perma-ban, I usually go for Master Yi — especially after his recent buff in the last and upcoming patch.
Other good ban options are Poppy or Fiddlesticks.
In the end, bans always depend on your personal playstyle and preferences. The best way to find out who you should ban — just play more games :)
3. What are Squishies?
Squishies, in my view, are champions with low HP who don’t build any resistances.
Examples include most ADCs, assassins, mages, and some duelists.
Let’s take Anivia — she’s a mage, but I wouldn’t call her squishy because her passive makes it hard to burst her quickly.
On the other hand, Aphelios is a good example of a squishy — he usually doesn’t build HP or armor, and can be killed very quickly.
4. What are Tanks?
Tanks are the opposite of squishies. They almost always build HP and resistances.
Most obvious examples: Amumu, Maokai, Sejuani.
You’re not going to burst them down easily :)
5. About Counterpick Pages
This one isn’t so black and white. While tanks do have a lot of HP, they also come with tons of CC.
Red Kayn is a perfect champ into HP stackers like Sion, but he still struggles vs armor. Armor reduces all your damage, even if it's %HP-based. That’s why you must build Black Cleaver or Serylda’s Grudge against them.
The problem with tanks isn’t just that they’re tanky — it’s that they prevent you from diving deeper in teamfights.
In a 1v1, Red Kayn can usually win against tanks. But in teamfights, it’s a different story.
Final words:
Even though you’re level 26, you're asking the right questions :)
Hope this helped and answered everything.

I have a couple more question tho. First how do you play mid to late games as blue Kayn. I can't play fornt line so I think my job is to dive there back line, but usally I just end up trading my self for the mid or bot. I feel I have little impact and end up counting on my team to win the 4v4 (which haven't worked out so well my last 2 matches).
This one is not really about Kayn but maybe you have good answer. What should I have as my backup jungler. I have been trying Trundle but feels he's hard to play when enemy team is just squishies.
I want to try Nocturne or Pantheon, but have been advised against playing to many champions. Any thoughs would be appreciate. Thanks agian <<<<3333
1. About Blue Kayn in post-mid to late game
On Blue Kayn, you can only really be on the frontline if you have Rhaast (red form with shadow skin) — and even then, only to tank a little, soak some damage, and get out.
As for regular Blue Kayn — you obviously can’t act as a frontliner, and your focus should be on the enemy backline. Trading 1-for-1 is not always good, since you’re basically the main carry who’s pulling the game. You dying means your team loses a lot of pressure.
It’s better to catch the enemy mid or ADC (APC) before teamfights, when they overextend or make mistakes. If you’re going to target their ADC or mid in a fight, do it with the mindset that you MUST survive afterwards. Always try to keep your Flash or ultimate for these fights — your R lets you dash through thin walls, then you can E+Q to escape, shifting enemy focus onto your tanks and away from yourself.
Don’t forget that you almost always have the highest movespeed on your team, so running in first to chase their ADC or mid is a bad idea — in late game, squishy carries are rarely alone. At least a support will be glued to them, and often the entire team — that’s how you end up in a 1v5. Sometimes your job isn’t to kill them but to zone them away from your team’s hypercarry, so your ADC can deal more damage while the enemy focuses on protection.
Engage on carries from over walls or angles they wouldn’t expect. Overall, Blue Kayn becomes mediocre in late game. If you’re dragging the game out or know it’s going to be long, check my Runes section — you’ll probably want Gathering Storm. On top of that, you can take Transcendence, Absolute Focus, or Axiom Arc, depending on what you need and like most.
In previous seasons, I always took Sorcery as my secondary rune tree for Blue Kayn, but the meta has shifted more toward early-mid game now.
2. Secondary jungler
When Kayn is banned or my team comp is just too strange/weak, or clearly worse than the enemy’s, I usually just dodge.
If you want a secondary jungler, I’d recommend Viego or Talon:
If you like other champs, just try them! I’m not the ultimate authority here :)
About Trundle — he’s only really good in duels vs low-mobility bruisers/tanks. Almost any champ with a dash can kite him.
3. Having a wide champion pool
A small champion pool isn’t always great. Look at pro player Diamondprox — he plays almost every jungler well and always picks what fits the situation.
On the other hand, you can OTP 1–2 champs, know every matchup and mechanic, and perform perfectly on them. It all depends on what you want.
If you’re just starting League, try many champions first to see which you like most, learn when they’re played, and understand their basics.
That’s it :)

Good luck in your next games ;D
