First off, I would like to know why you waste a mastery by grabbing burning embers when you do not even use ignite as a summoner spell. Even, if you are not focusing on AP Tf you should get the magic penetration mastery because you are doing magic damage at the least every time you use pick a card or wildcards and if I am correct every fourth hit. The passive on stacked deck my be true damage not magic damage, but I am not sure. This does not have to do with your guide specifically, but if you are focusing on AP TF Sheen is a very legitimate early item because you should be spamming Pick a Card. You can spam it for stuns and red cards and if you are worried about being low on mana just spam blue cards and you stay full mana.
I just realised that haha :D
I would take out the dodge runes and replace them with something else, you don't put any other emphasis on them throughout the game, but thats just an opinion. You may want to show a few complete builds in your items section, so that people could see your overall substitutions and what the final build would look like with them, and what situation you were put into when you use them.
Good luck with the build =)
Thanks man :) good advice +1 to you
Good luck with the build =)
I like what you did with the TF build, but may I suggest an AP (Please dont destroy me Spank) build that revolves instead around ARC and ABS? (Archangles Staff Abyssal's)
I've noticed that if I rush TOG, and I'm laning mid, I often spam WC against my opponent; they hit kinda hard early game, and if their dodging nukes, they arent last hitting. After a few minutes and I hit six, I recall, scan the map, and usually find someone at half health. Before I ult, I ping, tell them what I'm doing, buy SS for some MPen, and ult away. PAC btw is a great chase skill; you can force people to move to where you want them to go, can't tell you how many times I've forced somebody to run face first into a Poppy or a Ryze.
So, at the base of an AP TF theres this (My thoughts anyway); 1) Massive mana pool with ARC 2) Bonus AP with ARC & Abyssal 3) To be honest most people don't stack resist, and think the real benefit of TF is you can pretty much predict where the enemy team is going in terms of defense (Either AD or MD oriented) and totally rush the other path, and watch them scream and cry about how TF's ult is "Rigged" and is the only thing allowing you to dominate.
Can't destroy a logical argument ;-)
Very detailed, although I think you should add in a brutalizer or a Madreds instead of all the bloodthirsters they will still make you hard to kill
Thanks man :) and also if you read a little bit i wrote about other items you could use if you dont like the bloodthirster stack :) which includes a Youmuus and a Madreds :) haha
Also, I have a video of me going AD TF with a build similar to this except the BTs are changed to some of his other choices. I do amazing. Why bash something that works.
And his E scales in terms of AS. The point of AD TF is to use the skills for utility, like W for Gold and Q for last hitting. Even E for extra damage output. So, don't bash what works. Troll somewhere else?
Now for some constructive criticism. A Black Cleaver would be very helpful instead of one of the BTs. The damage will just end up being higher. Also, maybe instead of a Inf Edge, to cut down on the cost, you could grab a Last Whisper or even a SotO, as much as stack items are unreliable...
Anyways, +1 from me.
